Hi 👋 My name is Dr. Nikolai Klebanov, but I go by Dr. Nik. I'm a board-certified dermatologist.
I like to nerd out about science and give people the real deal information about skin. I also enjoy playing with lasers and like to build tech tools to improve the dermatology experience for everyone.
I trained at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts where I was the chief resident in dermatology. Before that, I was at Tufts University where I studied chemical engineering, and later earned my MD.
Excellent explanation my mom is diabetic and we given little to explanation as to why chronic wound...now I know what type of wound she has and the treatment course.
I have never seen a generous and helping being like Doctor Agboya who handles to me the cure to Tinnitus condition and this 🌿🌿medicine perfectly healed me of my Tinnitus. All thanks to God for helping me find doctor Agboya on RU-vid ru-vid.com/show-UCL_ksbGrUL6rQ14jtaTmhIQ .
I know this video was a few years ago, but did you ever present about nutrition and educating your patients on what to eat/ supplements for wound healing? If they aren’t getting enough protein, amino acids, and calories then heeling is last priority for the body.
This is the best wound care video I have seen yet! Two requests.... 1. Get a better mic it's very hard to hear you, yet your markers are very loud when you set them in the tray. 2. Can you make a word doc that has this progression, like you have on the board?
I get several slaughing little ulcers around my body with sticky exudate and don´t know what it its ? liver damage, food allergy , blood problem , but it is definatley slaughing yellow not allowing normal healing. I use sometimes extreme healing lotion and alcohol to fix them. The exudate is so damaging to the tissue. hate it. leaves me with red spots
Thank you so much for this! I've been studying wounds recent and although I've heard most (if not all) of these phrases I was struggling to categorise them. This has cleared it up greatly. I and many others really appreciate this, dude!
Just watched your wound care series and it was super helpful! Nice reminder before I head back on my clinical placement. Will you be doing any more videos any time soon?
@@DermDrNik honestly there is so much to cover it is hard to choose :) I am a nursing student (final year) so anything would be useful! Perhaps management of post-op patients? as in the main complications to look out for, how best to prevent them etc. or else whatever topic you are able to deliver really (not sure as to what is your background in the field)
@@dariad.2418 Thank you for your feedback and suggestions. I am a dermatology resident, and may do more videos in that space. It's good to know people are still watching these and are interested.
@@DermDrNik sorry I wasn't aware that you are dermatology resident but dermatology would be such an interesting topic! Maybe there would be something that would be useful for a nurse when it comes to skin integrity etc.? either way, hope to see your videos in the future whatever the topic it may be :)
