It was a great honor and privilege to be able to help provide this service! It was an honor to work with everyone involved! Our ARISS mentors and the program were wonderful, the TADL staff was superbly coordinated and focused, and the ARRL was represented by Dale Williams, Great Lakes Division Director. I don't think I'll ever make as memorable or as COOL as a contact aboard the ISS. Thank you to Col. Hague for making time to contact W8TCM! Thank you to Col. Johnson for the introduction, participation, and Q&A. This was a wonderful opportunity for all the youth (and also adults!) present, and we hope it will inspire the kids to embrace technology, science, and leverage it to forge a sure-footed path into the future for themselves personally, their career, and for the good of the world. If anyone is interested in details about the equipment and technology used, I'll do my best to answer questions. Also the Cherryland Amateur Radio Club in TC is very active and friendly, and eager to welcome new members and help them find ways to expand upon their interest areas within the realm of Amateur Radio and beyond.
