I’m still new and a beginner, I mainly do some river fishing and lake / creek fishing. I was looking at the worm/jig rod but I’m debating on this multi purpose. What would be the differences? And what would work best with a beginner like myself ?
@@Cashionrods wow! That is cheaper than I expected. I have 2 Cashion rods, a med light spinning, and a hvy flipping rod I just got. Love them both. You get a lot of rod for the money with Cashion rods. USA made and owned too! Please don't sell out to the giant conglomerates.
Just getting into your rods. Have a 7’BFS AND a 6’9” topwater. Really like the balance they have. Very impressed. Looking at the FFS rods mostly because I like long spinning rods but I’m really not a fan of EVAfoam grips. Wish you would have made from cork or minimized the size a bit. I like my fingers on the blank.
How does this model compare to the multipurpose in power and speed? I have a MP and love it for moving bladed baits and big topwaters. I want something a little faster but still some tip.

Oh. Imo I'd like to see better reel seats. From quality, to looks, to feel, the one thing I mostly didn't like about your rods or my only complaint is your reel seats.
If it didn't have that grip, I'd buy this rod 100%. They say the purpose of the grip was for sensitivity. If it plays more for treble hooks and moving baits, why would you need sensitivity. Convince me.
I’m looking for a rod for catching Juvenile Tarpon in canals,creeks and ponds, I’m throwing soft plastics, Jerk Shads, DOA Terroreyz with 1/8-1/2 ounces. What do you suggest ? These tarpon range from 20 inches to maybe 15 lbs
I’m selling all my St Croix rods either gonna go with Cashion or Lews this year can’t decide yet. I’ve held them cashion rods and I’ve seen demos of people bending the crap outta them may give em the shot this year
When will the new "CASHION" font/logo replace the old one with the C that looks like a hook on all rods? I like the look of the new WAAAY better. I wanna buy an Icon Chatterbait rod, but not if it has the old "Cashion" on the blank.
Annddd that’s how you snag lol. Nail a perfect cast into a crazy spot 100 times when no one is around and as soon as you’re within sight of someone else, BAM snagged.
When you use a spinning reel you reel with your left hand. Why would you use a baitcaster with right hand reel necessitating you casting, then switching hands before you reel? I'll never understand why.
Would you recommend this rod for ned rigs? Im looking for a ned rig rod for 1/8-1/4 oz neds. Sensitivity and casting distance is key for me. thanks for any advice
Man, I wanna try one of these but I can't get past that font/writing on the lower handle. Just makes it look cheap and targeted for kids IMO. I know looks ain't everything, but I want function and looks when spending $250+ on a rod.
Really looking forward to this - I fish the 6'10" Icon BFS, which is the best rod I've found for single hook baits, but a little longer and with bigger guides will be just the ticket for winter time smallmouth fishing.
I have the Cashion Icon Worm & Jig rod and John Crews Swim Jig rod. Both are great. Light, sensitive and I love the looks and the handles. I love to support American made when I can and really like these Cashion rods.
I bought the element version and it's an excellent chatterbait rod. I intend to use it for bigger spinner baits, buzzbaits, maybe ploppers and larger topwaters as well. Likely will order another one in the near future so I can have one spoole with braid and one with fluro.
Thanks for turning me on to Cashion. I have two of the CK worm n jig rods and I love them. They are so sensitive like you said I don’t miss hits and bites and plenty of backbone to control that fish. Plus I really like the weighted butt very well balanced.
I am getting one of these rods to pair with my Shimano SLX 21, the only problem is, I can't figure out which one I should get, I am more of a bass finesse guy. 🤔
