if I had a nickel for every time he made that fuckin and truckin joke during a rhythm heaven playthrough I would have two nickels but it's weird that it happened twice
50:00 Related story: I seriously couldn't believe that people call some of the native fruit (subtropic country) "smelly" until I moved to a different country and took a whiff of an old wet garbage can. Smelled exactly like jackfruit. Immediately had to do a double take. Why does the garbage smell like jackfruit? It got me thinking. Very well might just be that people in different countries associate the same smells with different objects (and that influences their perception of the smell). I associate the smell of durian with, well, durian. But if some other guy was from a place where garbage literally smelt like durians, suddenly it becomes a little easier to imagine why they wouldn't be open to eating it.
I know its late but I and many other grayfruit fans appreciate the work you do in putting edits and i look forward to watchign the new stuff and rewatching the old stuff
You know at first i thought it was insane to complain about the kart customization in MK8 then i remembered this guy also picks default costume in everything and everything made sense
Been meaning to say for a while, but there’s something oddly perplexing yet satisfying about seeing you using the Univers font for your edits. I’m in the middle of a graphic design course at the moment which is why I noticed it.
9:40 Growing up, my parents would do the 'shave and a haircut' knock a lot and told me at a young age that it was our family's 'secret knock'. I'll never forget when I first heard it elsewhere. And then again. And again.
3:36 here's some fun related trivia courtesy of the supper mario broth tumblr blog "In the Mario Kart 8/Deluxe track Thwomp Ruins, inert overgrown Thwomps can be found partially buried in the ground. While these can easily be interpreted as abandoned Thwomp statues, the internal filename for them suggests they are in fact Thwomp corpses. The filename is 'Death Dossun', with 'Dossun' being the Japanese name for Thwomp. If 'dead Thwomp' is indeed the intended interpretation of the name, this also suggests that inert Thwomps that appear in other games could also be corpses."
