Welcome to Snails and Fairy Dust where you will find beading tutorials, beading patterns and the occasional non-bead craft project. My hope for this channel is to demystify the art of beading so that it can become a fun and calming activity in your life because I think now, more than ever, we need to slow down and be mindful of something as simple as one tiny bead at a time. Happy Beading! ~ Darcy
Awesome work. I'm a beginner in brick stitch earrings for about 2 years. When I saw the first 5 minutes of your video. I definitely wanted to learn this stitch. I'm open to learning different kinds of stitches for earrings.
This is just a clip. The full video is here -Brick Stitch Black Cat Halloween Earring Tutorial with Free Pattern ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5jg1VeiWdCA.html
Just found your account and I love your tutorials. I’ve beaded in years past but needed a refresher. Your instructions are clear and I appreciate the joy you have in the process that shines through :)
I am very impressed with your beautiful double brick stitch earrings! The large pattern display of instructions for new beaders is so helpful. I have never seen any instructions like them! I would like to see this emulated by all designers in the future. I know it takes a lot of time to write out detailed instructions, but your drawings were so detailed and large that they simplified the whole pattern and how everything fit together. Bravo!!!
Thank you for this video tutorial ❤ I was so glad to see that it was decreasing brick stitch rather than increasing. Looks simple, I will try to make a pair tomorrow. I made another of your designs today - the one with the semicircular fringe - it took me 4.5 hours to complete 😊. Granted it was my 1st one and I was very pleased with the outcome. Trying to work away an old stash of Delicas (not so interesting colours) so that I can justify getting a whole new stash 😅. Beading is my switch off button. Love your tutorials, the ones with the hoops are my favourites. ❤❤
I've been beading for more than 20 years and am always looking for a refresher or a better technique. Your tutorials are so great! Your voice is made for talking us through the steps and I like the up-close camera work, always in focus! Thank you and keep them coming!!!
I’m in England and I use a website called Perles and Co which is in France. But if you search for Miyuki Delica beads where you are, you should be able to find them.
I love your tutorials ! Your tutorials are clear and easy to follow. And, you are always pleasant and cheerful. I am really into pendants, so would like some new tutorials for them. I use your earring designs for pendants. Love them!
