I've noticed the same thing about ASL textbooks! I wonder if it's related to the fact that a lot of people lose their hearing (and therefore need to learn sign language) later in life.
so u make a video about something that u havent even looked up before? I mean there are dozenz of guides on youtube bro. this video was a bit sad to watch and i mean isnt it obvious to change the technique of it doesnt work.. it cant fly like ur holding it, because its like a airplane wing. It needs to be more leveled to the ground. Like a in between of what ur doing and skipping a stone over water. but despite that, i like the video quality. Looks professional.
traaash video mate. maybe look up how to do it if you're too dumb to find out. and it looked like you've never thrown anything in your life, this was horrible.
Bro, I got the same 14" Murra-Wolka made in 2002 traditional returning boomerang from Australia. It's really high-skill thing. Not easy to throw it right way so it can return straight to your hands. It took me almost two days to throw it correct way so it returned to me ;)
youtube suggested me your video out of no where, tbh I didnt think you are a small createor untill I finished the video, I really loved the intro, keep going Just consider filimg in higher quality.
@@SALTYCOMBATDIVER-ExInstructor I'm sitting right here in Australia. you don't throw a boomerang like a frisbee if you want it to come back, you throw it vertically like he is trying to do in the video but with the tip of the v pointing at your direction!
@@arunashamal they are thrown at an angle, not vertical. Thanks for proving yourself wrong and good for you, I grew up there and again we used them in the field.
@@SALTYCOMBATDIVER-ExInstructor you were telling the guy to throw it like a frisbee which is absolutely the wrong way, and after getting humiliated after me pointing out the correct way, you suddenly found angles? lol! Oh well good like trying to crawl back out of the hole you yourself dug!
RU-vid is watching us. Last night I thought I take the boomerang out and just have fun with it - It was first time in like, 5 years. I didn't even say a single word about the boomerang, ALL I FUKING DID WAS TO TOUCH IT AND THINK ABOUT IT. This morning, I'm getting this video in my feed for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. Coincidence?
dude.... use your brain you were throwing it with its edges pointed up and down like a plane turned sideways during flight.... when was the last time u saw a plane fly with its wings vertical lol
Nah you throw boomerangs vertical and then then self level. You're supposed to throw it with the point of the triangle facing backwards and the two ends facing forwards. it looks like this boomerang just sorta sucks.
It doesn’t matter which way the elbow of the boomerang is pointed when you throw it. What matters is the direction of the rotation - the airfoils have to be moving through the air in the right direction - just like an airplane wing. (Also, that is a decorative boomerang - it won’t come back without modifying the arms.)
lol yeah, the aboriginals have such deep complex knowledge and technique when it comes to stick throwing. how dare this tourist throw the stick wrong?!
I threw it like a frisbee, side arm. It would go straight and flat until it caught the air and go up and curve until it slid off in an arc. Eventually coming back. Like rolling a ball up a hill. The hill is the air. Rolls up the air and slides back off in your direction. Can do the same throwing a frisbee into the wind.
@@vocalvacations I think that's a display unit. Decorative. Could be wrong of course. Ours was about twice the size of that one. I don't remember the airfoil shape. I think it was basically flat but much longer. Don't remember there being a top or bottom. I don't think it mattered which way we threw it. Just as long as it was thrown towards the breeze and with a strong flick. We did manage to get it to come back pretty close. Like frisbee for one player.😏 Good luck.
Next time try throwing it like you’re skipping a rock on the water except you’re trying to skip the boomerang on the wind. The way you’re throwing it now looks like you’re trying to slice the wind in two 🪃💨
You're holding it vertically, it's curving right into the ground.. The angle of the boomerang relative to the ground matters too. But then again idk wtf I'm talking about.
Why are you throwing it up are you hunting birds😮 well I've done a long time ago I threw it down aiming around 25 yards in front of me at around 60° and it would go almost skim the floor and loop back far to the right idk what kind it was but it was bigger and heavier than the one you have
I improved my Japanese by using this new amazing technology called "library" and I can get some "books" as well... FOR FREE! That's wild. For real, reading daily 2+ hours every day of Japanese thanks to my local Japanese Embassy Library is doing wonders to my Japanese.
I am taking Basque classes and every month we get given a magazine called Aizu. It doesn't come with audio and there isn't a clear cut distinction between levels but it is definetly designed for learners. I'm not focusing on Basque atm, I mostly follow the level of the course and self study other languages in my free time, but the day I decide to focus on it they will come really handy. I believe this was started in the 80s after Basque got legalized? Really impressive nontheless, there is a lack of modern and technological resources for Basque but traditional methods keep being there
@@vocalvacations it's actually kinda helpful, since my level in my target language is beginner i get to know new vocab and sentence structure with the apps, also i think it's better five minutes at duolingo than not practice at all
@@offnynyHey nothing wrong with using Duolingo, though I have to say it's better for some languages than others. Still there are a lot of perks to it, like having constant reminders, getting your daily minutes in, and it being free.
I thought it was just going to be Hitler jokes the whole time, but no. It's funny, and enjoyable. Bet you can't wait to learn about Schweinhund or Arschgeige and what they mean!
