Wonderful car! Volvo 940 with 16 valve engines were quite rare, even as new. Here in Sweden, it was designated as the 940 GLT 16 valve and was made just for the first model year - 1991.
@@turbotim161 Thank you. This model of alloy wheels were factory fitted model year for 1991 and 1992 GLE-trim Swedish market cars, so they are period correct for your car. I have owned an early 940 GL, built in October 1990. It was a Volvo company car with steel wheels and cloth interior (base trim=low tax for the original driver), buth with all the factory options except for frontal airbags. Somewhat later, I bought a set of brand new complete Volvo 960 wheels at a dealer sale. I really miss that car!
The body kit is amazing! Those IKEA Floor mats were a Nice touch. It needs some sound deading in the doors. But other then that? This darn near a perfect build. What I always wanted to do was replace the Beeper chime with one of those chyrsler EVA voice alerts. My dream is to get one of the powered sunroofs.
Uhm why does this 240 have a DL emblem? It's got black paint between the taillights, black decor stripes under the windows, black lists etc. That's a GLT :?s
LOL haha paited that myself ;)! I made a vid in Dutch when i am telling all the things that are not factory on this car. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oBjG_S1Sd2k.html
