really solid truck in my opinion awesome to that theres not only one design of claw really enjoy seeing it pick up the different types of cans to great job
Have you any future plans to demo these units to Australian refuse collection agencies and councils? I'm pretty certain a LCD wide-screen TV would have very little chance of getting stuck in this packer! What thickness of steel would it be guaranteed to handle without damage to the hydraulics? I have seen cylinder heads stuck in garbage a long time ago. Very difficult for a garbage packer to unstick! The garbo operating the truck that day was not happy about having to go back to the depot to have the metal item removed. I'm a residential customer, I'm not interested in buying these for myself, although would certainly be good to see them demoed at shows or other locations across Australia. It would have to be able to handle wooden fence posts with fencing and wire still attached, that seems to be a major difficulty for paddle packers to handle on garbage routes in rural areas.
Best refuse trucks in the business! I’m an operator in the valley that works for a municipality. I wouldn’t want to run anything else and don’t like it when I have to. We also have Wayne and amrep and scorpions are far superior.
When you guys say most innovative and safest we know that these 2 features come at a price. Could you reply with the price for the sideloader body so we can compare it with other prices from different companies?
I run a scorpion with a Pete cab. It tips to dump though. Scorpion is far superior than our other Wayne bodies. We’re getting some amreps. I’ve heard they’re a good body but I love the scorpion. Fantastic job dadee Mfg.
What happens if you don’t pull forward as you empty, looks like pulling forward scatters it too much.......they wouldn’t approve of that at the landfill. Can you run it out without pulling up, let the blade push the garbage out & eventually push the truck forward a little as it empties......
I love the emptying part of the trash at the dump !!! Everytime I watch those videos, I'm hoping to spot abandonned woman's underwears or fashion magazines but never seen yet :(
Very nice video and trucks. But I'm a driver not big on the host body in the landfill. Saw many of them roll over. And yes due to a Driver with no experience with a host body.
Back in the day that was all there was, I remember when I was a driver. Just needed to find a good level spot for raising the body and never have the pack -wall midway. Push out as much as you can then retrieve all the way back before raising up.
Hurry up and repair my packing cylinders and speed the arm back up to like it was in this video. She's a beast when running like this. Best truck I've driven when running properly.
If I asked do you think the driver would say yes to letting me be dumped in, of course I would tell him to not do any full pack cycles so I wouldn’t die
why do you wish to be compacted in one? surely there are multiple.dumpsters you could jump in to play around then get back out unless you and i are not the same for fetish wise perhaps instead of crushing it u rather just be in it i like crushing and never try to get put in a real truck
Nice love the design of the mantis great idea to be able to clean out behind the blade just in case an accident happens on route no need to ever enter the truck DaDee trucks are the best
Have you ever tried to grab a bulkly item, like a sleep sofa, queen size matress, etc. with the pinchers and dump it into the hopper. If so, how did the Scorpian's compactor system handle crunching it up? Was it able to "divide and conquer" the item or did it choke?
