Would it be pretty hard on Elizabeth with just a paddle kayak because that’s all I got at the moment and live by an inlet I been wanting to get out n try to fish by the eastern branch
youd be good, the tide does rip depending on the days coefficient. ive fished the river with paddle yakers many times. youd be good espically just fishing the branches and break offs of the main river
@@7citiesfishing awesome thanks! I’m hopin the weather isn’t crazy this weekend so I can try gettin out there haha. Thanks for the feedback highly appreciated!
no, with mine being pedal im able to stay in place or readjust my positioning. it wouldnt be a bad idea tho if you find a bite and its not to deep, some areas of the river are pretty deep
So I just moved to Virginia and live by more of the run off part of Elizabeth river in the middle. Would there still be fish coming down this run off part? I’m trying to bank fish until I can get a kayak and trying to find the best spots to go
yes you can still get on great fish deep into the Eriver and branches of it. best trout i got in 2023 was 28.1/2 and was deep in the river. indian river to be exact. my insta is reidmoseley94 or fb reid moseley ill help with spots
Some really nice trout. The quest for one over 27” keeps me going back, congrats on your PB. Always carry a smile for a long time after a good one like that. Enjoyed the video, come back to us .
thank you for the kind words! yes, since the start of my channel ive used a head cam make it feel like your there and you can catch so much more action on cam, and you are right, very blessed why 99% of my trout swim away gotta protect it. thank you again!
I was right there today. Wind/ big boat traffic/ lot of fresh water from last nights storms… Caught a few dinks and a real nice white perch. Nuttin to write home about.
Atta boy!!!!! Thats a big number day and quality too, glad to see some content again. I get into big numbers down here off the pam and neuse once it gets good and cold and they get in the backwaters, like 50 fish days and generally no shorts when they get back there, your more than welcome to come down sometime.
Yeah man keep the vids coming I'll watch them all. I'll hit u up in the ole fb, I'm a facial ginger. This colder weather should push them back into the creeks, another month or so it should be fire down here.
