Thanks for the hint! I looked up that card and it’s a base card not a variation. I haven’t heard the hatless tipoff though, interesting. Thanks for watching! :)
I don’t know why nobody seems to organize like I do ? Or do they ? I organize by Teams of course but I try and make my own sets , by no means complete just Quarterbacks, with a running back or two same with quarterbacks and wide receivers and and a couple of the teams good defensive players and I like too do that with all 32 teams in one box sets that I make and hopefully I’ll be able to sell them like that, I do mix in the really nice inserts with every team and a couple good rookies in every team as well ! Any opinions ? Thanks
Not bad on the hits! On any of your other ten boxes you somehow end up hitting an Ernie Banks Red Toile /5 let me know, I am definitely a buyer!! That is the last card I need to complete the rainbow for him!
The players send back stacks of cards sometimes one gets skipped. It happens and is actually a cool error card as most of them are signed. Imaging opening 100 packs of index cards signing every one and sending them back. You may miss one also. And you better do a recap video of your platinum case with all the hits and numbered cards from worst to best !
I’ve received a card like that before from panini also. Obviously it was intended to be a sticker auto that was guaranteed authentic but never put on the card
6:19 - pray that his career gets back on track.... and hopefully no sticky stuff on the card. Thanks for sharing this break, these cards are way beyond my budget so I enjoy watching others having a go with them.
I like the 1954 design this year plus the chance of pulling a HOF auto from this product has better odds than getting one from Topps Heritage. Looking forward to seeing what you get in the next 10 boxes 😊
Nice cards! I am looking forward to seeing the City Variation pack you find. I am hoping to finally see the refractor version of one of the City variation packs.
dude the entire point of comc is to gather all your low value trash cards consolidate them and get rid of it w LOW effort. imagine listing each and every 1000 cards on ebay, take pics , create listing , then if you sell, go to post office and ship (TIME =$$$$) who cares if comc is a couple % more expensive on the low end stuff?
Not a fan. Reminds me of some other product that features portraits but can't put my finger on it. Why do they keep putting players that retired 50-75 years ago in card products?
I would guess it’s because those players are legends and still very collectible. I collect Bob Feller and he hasn’t played in almost 70 years! It’s cool to me seeing Bob Feller cards produced in modern sets. But, to each their own! Collect what you like :)
It’s amazing so far! And considering how big the checklist is along with how many different parallels there are, it’s going to be loads of fun. Thanks for watching :)
We bought one with 3 packs of 2022 Series 2. Somehow one of those had the biggest hit, with a Gehrig SSP! We had neevr pulled a SSP from flagship. Odds were 1 in 1,200 packs.
Comc is a great site but I’ll probably never send anything to them. I use it to flip some stuff and buy stuff that’s underpriced for my PC and for flipping on eBay. The other cost that you didn’t mention is to buy store credit just to list your cards, you have to also pay sales tax. So for every $100 you “buy” you pay a few extra dollars. It really is only worth cards $5 and up that have consistent sales history. Flipping right on the site is the only thing I think is really worth it.
I don’t understand how they don’t have any form of showing condition. There are many levels of F, NM or M or potential PSA grades. How do you know? Without ever seeing the card.
