Welcome to Snag'd, I'm your host David and I'm here to make sure you have a good time! Creating content is easily the most fun I've had! I'll be creating new content all the time! Thank you for watching - enjoy!
I don’t believe that spot is still uncrowded. On a night session about 20 years ago I was sitting in a folding chair next to that little tree next to where you have ya livies and got bitten on my neck by something that had me in pain and sweating till the next morning. Much safer and civilised on the other end of that pipe. And Merlins Pizza!
all the big barras i catch have been out of the wind on lilly pads just on dark no sounder just flicking the jackall and ive got a few bout 105 and 110s
Perfect. No worries. I'll be about 2 weeks into our newborn baby, so sadly I won't make this one. I'll be keeping an eye on the results rolling in on FB
Hey mate, Just wondering do jacks hold up at every drain thats rushing. Like why would they be putting there heads into fresh water? can u help me out?
The other side of that drain is salt water. On the goldy, a lot of lakes drain into the main river. So it's salt going into salt. A lot of bait hang around those areas.
@boonitokartono5286 we fished it around this time. There is a real technique to it...it is hit and miss sometimes. But I've always caught fish on that lure every time.
@@snagdfishing yeah really appreciate the help dude. I am starting to understand the technique, we are imitating a minnow scavenging off the bottom. You reel just enough to feel the next tug on the lure as we twitch. Very finesse movements
Congrats on the pb, one more solid run and she might have won the battle with that chaffed up leader. Some good shows on the sounder, shame you couldn’t get a few more to eat. How’s old mate tea bagging the vibe while eating a sanga then he hooks up, classic 😂😂 We’re up here at the moment, I had a good solo session in the pouring rain this afternoon (family didn’t want to get wet) boated 6 and lost 4, all around 68-69 cm, got another 2 days up here so hopefully I’ll get a few more.
Haha yeah the barra my mate got was too funny. One more run and it was all over, makes that fish very memorable now. Sounds like you're doing pretty good for numbers atm, don't be surprised if a big one comes along soon. Good luck up there, let me know how you go! Cheers for the comment 👍
Sorry I forgot to let you know how we went. Got another half a dozen fish for the rest of the trip, no big girls but still had plenty of fun catching the smaller 60’s models. We were glad the weather cleared up on the last couple of days so we weren’t packing up wet camping gear. Heading back up for a few days in a couple of weeks time, can’t wait.
