I was given a steroid injection in my eyelid and it damaged my eyelid muscle giving me a lazy eyelid. It was years ago and I still have recurrent nerve pain in the eye area where I got the injection. So upsetting. I remember feeling excruciating pain at the time, absolutely excruciating pain and thought, "this can't be right" That turned out to be the case.
Neck lift a year ago and bands are back. Is there anything to get done less invasive besides Botox! I’m doing that now to soften them. They were addressed during surgery I have the scar under my chin 🤦♀️
I have the same one, it's a burning pain and it's been a red bump chalzion for like 3 months, it's been hard putting on makeup so I've made an appointment, hope it works!! 😌
How long after the injection did it take for the patients chalazion to disappear? I just had a shot two days ago and I see a difference already but they told me it could take up to 6 wks to go completely away...is this true??? Could you kindly let me know I was hoping the dr would state such in the video but he didn’t thank you
@@jem6578 Mine did go away! I had it for 8 months, it will fade just be patient! Honestly, a combination of the shot and OcuSoft lid scrubs worked wonders! You can get them at your local drugstore (Walmart has them). I honestly think the lid scrubs (they’re tiny wipes) did more than the shot. It took about a month. Good luck :)
@@hernapd Omg Tysm, you just saved me from so much stress LOL. I’m 16 and I was like freaking out about this because there was no way I could show up to school like this 💀 Thanks for the reassurance!!!
@@jem6578 of course love! I was SO insecure for the longest time, I would CRY and I thought it was the end of the world. But now I completely forgot I ever went through the stress of a chalazion/stye because there is no scar or anything. Make sure to get those wipes!!! Use them every night and every morning! You got this 😎
@@jem6578 Yes, mine was kind of stubborn and took two shots, but it did go away for good after the 2nd one. Also it didn’t hurt because they have a numbing agent in the injection. If you need one, don’t be worried at all.
@@jem6578 Also, I read if your prone to getting styes you should change your pillow case every 2-3 days because they spread bacteria to your eye, so that’s what I do and you can also spray alcohol on your pillow cases every morning when you get out of bed. It kills the germs as well. It’s been working! 👍🏻
I had cataract when i was a kid and the doctors replaced my natural lens with an artificial lens ... my left eye is smaller than my right eye and i can see some colors on my left eye but it's so blurry and i can also see light .. i'm 12.. is there a chance that my left eye can have sight ... i wanna see the world with both eyes :< .. i struggle a lot on school .. cuz i can only see with my right eye .. sometimes i don't see what the teacher is writing on the board.. pls answerr meeee
cecilia954 I did my surgery last Friday. Went back for a follow up appt two days ago and my doc told me that my he only managed to remove some pus out as most of it has hardened. He also told me that I no need to go back for another surgery. But ask me to do steroid injection on the next visit if my chalazion still didn’t drain.
I would try the injection. It seems to work for many people. Since some of the chalazion has hardened. I think that's why I still had the hard bump. If you have it done, please let me know how it turns out in case mine ever gets large again. Hope you have good luck!
IVlog Melife I would recommend an in-person evaluation. If you are a kid, your orbits continue to change as you age which can change your eye size appearance.
What about one eye getting bigger over time and now being a problem? I was born with perfectly normal eyes. Just this last year I've noticed one eye is growing. You can tell it's buldging because my normal eye lid hood has one crease and the other has caused 2 new creases. It's freaking me out.
therealmillyxx jesus The same shit happened to me. Except i got it worse, my eyebrows, eyes jaws got all asymmetrical. I was always a handsome kid with green colored eyes and now i would always get told that u look fine, but I doubt dat I swear facial asymmetry is just a pain in the ass
