Ingredients 3 Cups Flour (Sifted) 1.5 tsp baking powder 1 tsp salt 1 stick butter unsalted 1/2 cup vegetable OIl 4 eggs 2 cups Granulated sugar 2 tsp Vanilla 3/4 cups Rum 1/2 cup Buttermilk Rum Glaze/Soak 1/2 stick Butter 1/2 cup Sugar 2 tbsp Water 1/4 cup Rum (added last) Combine dry ingredients and set aside Cream butter then add Oil and sugar until light and fluffy Add eggs (one at a time) Add vanilla then alternate adding Flour, rum and Buttermilk mixing in between each addition Add to prepared baking pan and bake at 325 for 60 mins Once out of the oven pour/brush on the Rum Glaze/soak

I’m lazy when I’m making Bammy I don’t sift too much I do take out lumps and then I pat them into a flat circle shape on a chopping board. And pick up with a spatula and put in pan and slow cook. Flip over. It’s moist enough that it holds together.
