So why do women have to require the lower bar if if it’s only 1/234567th of the routine? I’m confused? How many more to that lower bar must be incorporated in their routine to make it justified? Just asking as a question.
The way Luo Rui performed those first two pirouettes was just textbook perfect. I've never seen anyone perform them as perfectly as she did them here. And that laid out jaegar... Wow! Shame she didn't hit her routine in EF.
Katelyn is creative, STRONG, artistically amazing and does HIGHER level tricks. Katelyn is better and makes it look fun and amazing. Simone is like a powerhouse and EXECUTES WELL but she's NOT as good creatively, she's not good with rhythm or combining difficulty and artistic creation . Simone is NOT as good as Katelyn.
I think artistically, the step throughs should be the wave of the future. The back 2.5 step out to double back was the coolest thing on this video. I used to step out of front 2/1, back 2.5, and every thing under. I wanted to do a double front step through but just didn’t have the raw power. I can totally see stepping out of a Biles, a double front, Arabian double. I did back 1.5 step handspring double twist forward. I dream of seeing a back 2.5 front handspring double twist. It just looks so cool.
Could Ellie invent a new uneven bars mount (probably not worth much in difficulty), a straight body jump up to high bar with mix L grip, or a more difficult mount skill- the mount type where they straddle leap over the low bar, except to a mix L grip on the high bar?
I still remember seeing Silvia do it at '91 worlds and just being blown away by its utter uniqueness...still to today one of my favorite routines of all time. I love that her daughter reinterpreted it to fit her gymnastics! Well done!
