My dad's house had that inlay on the living room floor when he bought it. When we actually moved in. My parents were very upset. The seller covered it with tile floor. The inlay is why they choose this house. It was exact design you just made. I always wanted an inlay floor too.
I can do faux inlay. Not real inlay. No one knows the difference. But, I do. This is an amazing asset. This man is gifted with a wonderful gift to make such beautiful furniture. Excellent!❤
It's disappointing to watch someone put so much time and thought into a craftsman piece, only to pull out a brad nailer and screws to hold it together. I expected more craftsman-style joinery, rather than leaving visible nail and screw holes. The title says "skillful woodworking," but that feels like an overstatement.
@7:00 I think marking a drill bit to a certain depth, and drilling holes, and only using the hand tools to finish, would have been more efficient, time wise...J/S
