I have been painting, crafting, and creating for as long as I can remember and have recently decided to share my creations with everyone! I enjoy creating acrylic pour painting on canvas. I have recently starting using art resin in my crafts. I have dabbled in creating pieces polymer clay and in the past I have created unique jewelry pieces. This channel will be dedicated to painting! Enjoy!
I'm new at pour painting. I wanted to know if you left the base white coat dry before you add the paint to it? Please, any help would be appreciated. Thank you! Loving what I've seen so far that you've done. 💜
@TheCharmingGiraffe ok, thank you. I'm practicing with different techniques so see which one I like best. I'm working on Halloween color ones but so far they aren't turning out well. I think I'm using too much black. Thank goodness tiles are only 13 cents each lol
At first I thought the painting would turnout dark but as it spread out the colors were brighter & gorgeous!! Nice work. Wishing you well with your new apartment & job Congrats
I read the directions including the dry times off the can at the beginning of the video. It's dry to the touch in 15 minutes and safe to handle in 30 minutes.
I've been thinking about this for ages and you have inspired me to try this out. I plan to have some wood splints glued on in a cross with stoppers and rubber bands to clamp the canvas in place
Are you able to use this without ppe? I am looking for resin alternatives for my crafts. I am still planning on wearing gloves regardless, but I don't want to have to wear a respirator mask. Those things are extremely uncomfortable and I have kids around me all the time so I don't want to get them exposed or anyone else to any harsh chemicals. Resin just didn't seem like a great fit for that reason so I am trying to stay away from it.
It is not sprayed on completely. When spraying you have to make sure that it is on the painting. I had that issue b4 but tried again. I hope this helps.
Ok whoops I guess I should have finished watching the entire video BEFORE writing my previous comment. Bc then I would have seen that you figured out what the donut was that they were referring to. My bad. I jumped the gun. Whoops. All well. Well there u go, now u know for sure. & maybe I was able to answer more than one of y’all’s questions anyone may have had. Hopefully!
Lol. Ur too funny. But the part on that can that is the color (what was it GREY/SILVER-ish looking) was what they were referring to when they said “DONUT” bc if you were to be looking at it from above straight down, & with your imagination if you were to eliminate the center part where the nozzle cap thing is, It would appear to look like a donut. & that’s how they were interpreting that whole scenario. & As far as where it says anything about pigment, I guarantee you that this is their General Directions they give on all their products, & I’m guessing don’t bother switching up and of the wording bc one or maybe a handful of they are a completely different form of spray. & When they said something about the “FAT CAP/NOZZLE (which I’m assuming they didn’t/don’t supply you with, c I’m sure it only came just as you showed it, but the fat cap is a entirely different cap that the hole in which the spray comes out of, is a slightly bigger opening/hole. Which is why they call it a fat cap. & The only reason I know all of this, is because not too terribly long ago, I was doing a ton of research on different varieties of GOLD/SILVER SPRAY PAINTS, & I ran across the MONTANA GOLD spray paints, a lot of their wording is similar to this brands. Which btw I’ve only ever been able to find this paint brand on HOBBY LOBBY’S WEBSITE. & Let me tell u a lil secret this brands prices are drastically lower than any of the others that I’ve came across in my months long research I did into spray paints. & they did have a fairly decent color selection, not the largest color range but it will certainly do the job, & it’ll save u some money in the process. & BEFORE ANYONE GOES TO THINKING NO I AM NOT SPONSORED NOR DO I WORK OR RECEIVE ANYTHING AS A KICKBACK FOR ANY OF THIS, THIS IS JUST ALL MY OWN OPINION AND WHAT ALL I’VE LEARNED HAVING RESEARCHED THIS AND MANY MANY OTHER SPRAY PAINTS. Ok So I hope this information helps you or anyone for that matter in any way. Ok TAKE CARE AND HAVE A BLESSED DAY!
This isnt a good guess but here goes: I'm guessing Avatar the Last Airbender, but I'm not really sure. The pallet doesn't match that of the show, but the colors could be used to symbolize each nation/element. Brown and green= Earth, Blue= water, Turquoise and white= air and orange=fire?
That's a fantastic guess but that's not the cartoon I had in mind. This cartoon is much older than Avatar. But I absolutely love that guess and making the connections with the colors! 🎨🦒😊
I haven't used any spray sealers for a while now but I do remember that my favorite was the Windsor and Newton Professional Gloss Varnish spray 🎨🦒 I plan to test some additional non-spray sealers if you have any that you would like me to test out let me know.
Wow! I thought that the balloon effect was fantastic! The colors stayed true. Then you went beyond extra fabulous with the Statue of Liberty and cityscape... ❤❤❤
Thank you, I needed this! I am chillaxing tonight. Tomorrow, I'm working as an election judge at my polling location. It'll be a long day, and it is so cool to see red, white, and blue! Can't wait to see what you ultimately did! ❤❤❤
Thank you so so much! I hope your day goes by smoothly. This was a super old video that I never posted. The final version posted a long time ago lol 🤣 Here's the link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xZ3H8DN7sAE.htmlsi=c0BKNazqCU3tP0Y4 You probably have already watched it 🦒🎨
