I post whatever I take the time to record that may be worthwhile for the world to see lol, if there's something you guys want to see make a request! I'm always working on random cars. If I get enough demand I'll even buy a car to work on to show you guys.
I try to help out when I can, so if you have car questions feel free to reach out!
It's done via computer. Manual regeneration revs engine to 2k while spraying diesel and def into the exhaust to heat it up and clean it out. Hope this helps!
The range is correct. And these cars don't have an alternator. In the transmission they have attached the "drive motor" to move the car, and a "regeneration" motor that uses slowing motion to regenerate. If I'm not mistaken, the regeneration motor can also be engaged when the gas engine is on to charge the battery.
I have FF just Hybrid 2015 SE model Bought at 250k kms on it, in oct 2022 Since then just changed both feont brake pads and driver side lower control arm. Now it is at 320k kms on it and changed oil every 8-10k kms. Also changed spark plugs by my self and engine+cabin filter by self. As its just hybrid, did not notice any unusual battery drain. Still getting same mileage since I bought it. Now planning to switch to FF plug in. So question is, how much maintenance you did apart from routine oil chnage ? Did you replaced any major parts like lower arm or suspension or shocks or brakes with rotor pads and calipers ??? Please throw some light on this
Still on the original brakes, rear pads are getting pretty low. Filters replaced as well at 190k. I haven't really had to do anything but tires every 40k miles and I did spark plugs as well as preventative maintenance. I was thinking of probably doing a coolant drain and fill as well as brake fluid when I do the rear pads since the car is now 7 years old. The only thing that's been annoying is tpms sensors. I recommend just changing them when you do your tires. Nothing worse than getting a tpms warning every time you turn the car on!
Hi, I have owned a 2019 Ford Fusion Energi since new - only have 12000 miles on it. What a great car having owned about 60 cars in my life. The Fusion does everything well in luxury. Excellent cruising on the freeway and getting 120 mpg. I have only been to the gas station about 5 times in last 4 years as the 20-22 miles of electricity covers most of the small trips I do in my area. I recharge in my garage with 120 volts generally overnight. I hope Ford reconsiders building cars again rather than SUVs. Yes it does have a small boot area because the battery takes up a lot of the space. That is the only disappointment but it has never been a problem for me. With all the safety features such as adaptive cruise contol, warning for drifting in to other lanes and emergency stops if the car in front stops together with warnings on the side mirrors if another car gets in the blindspot and anyone or car passing behind if backing up - wow it is only now the industry is catching up with these safety features. All the other comfort features such as navigation, phone hookup for wifi and 12v charging. I was almost going to sell it but I cannot get better and only now at a much greater price. After the lease was finished I refinanced with Ford to keep in warrsnty. My only issure has been the A/C being addressed a few times under warranty. Happy motoring especially those that own one of these vehicles.
Mine dida. Complete fry out. Burned the cat nnector and melted the plug and socket. Replaced the circuit board and now need to get the plug. Any ifea where the get that? Is there a speciql plug or is a generic one that fits good enough
... these cars really do drive great.. just feels good.. Just wondering how long it will take for this bloody recall they made to be taking care of for the 2019-2020 cars.
i say that it drains fast because i look at the car radio screen and go to the battery icon and as i drive i look at the % the battery is on and it goes down fast , idk if is that im not charging it fully ,
Also My friend just got one and he hasn’t charged it all the way but when he charged it halfway, it drained pretty fast , idk if is normal or we’re just over thinking , your only supposed to get 15 miles on it ? i’m sorry i’m confused , some people also said you don’t need to charge it as long as your riding gas as well
Have you had to replace the big battery in the back? I have a 2019 ford fusion titanium hybrid, with 105k miles on it still running strong, but I am wondering how long those hybrid battery last?
These hybrid Fords are _seriously_ underrated. The 2.5 n/a Duratec 4 banger is damn near bulletproof and the transmission (E-CVT) is incredibly simple and unlikely to fail.
Ain’t no way I got this in my recommendation I bought this monitor after watching this video it’s been 2 years and the monitor still going strong very underrated in my opinion
Thank you for your opinion but a swear word wouldn't show my mentality or the type of person that I am what so ever. I took the time to make a video in 90° weather to hopefully help others years ago and share my experience. I hope despite my "swears" this video was useful to you!
Just purchased a 2016 for $1700 with 140K miles they thought the Hybrid battery was bad but it only needed a charge cord didn't come with one. They sell very nice cars but don't repair them at all.I can't believe they had the car listed for $5995 because they didn't know it want start if the 12V battery is weak and the hybrid is completely dead.
Is this the same as the Westinghouse 32" 4k Monitor wh32ux9019 ? This one : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7TP8JTk80Ak.html&ab_channel=AlexandriaCustoms
what speed are you going on the highway? if you set the cruise control to 61mph in the regular hybrid fusion 2013 you get 50mpg, with the engine on ive done 65 miles one way, and back for a month doing that. Staying in right lane. If I do 70 i get a min of 41mpg cruise control. car is in cruise control like 90% of the time. Only time i dont do cruise control is in traffic or when im backroad using hills. averaging 37mph in my regular fusion hybrid i can easily get 61mpg on hilly backroads Im tempted to buy one but not for 60 mpg. at 140k the battery degradation is showing i can only pull of 55 on hilly backroad area and like 40 on highway at 70mph, 61mph still yields like 48mpg, previous owner who sold it at 31k averaged 33mpg.
So i do a lot of 70 mph driving where the car gets 38-39mpg. The phev has a bigger electric motor so it does less mpg than the regular hybrid. I'm in Florida so there aren't many hills to coast around here 😂
While the compressor is in operation the fridge pressure on the lowside should be staying between 0-5 psi. If it's negative you don't have enough freon and need to add some more. When you add freon in the pressure will slowly drop until it stabilizes. When charging slowly add, don't let the gauges jump over 30 when adding. Good luck!
Do you have an issue with the freezer light not staying LIT ? Also the freezer panel display temperature doesn’t reflect the actual temperature in the freezer itself and it keeps on raising even though the actual inside temperature is stable.
Not really, that would depend on your internet service and what router you have. This could help with load times but honestly it should be about the same as the ps5's oem storage. I'll find out more as I finish downloading games and play them from this SSD
@@jonyrocklooking at buying a 2014 energi titanium with 140k for 6900. It looks really well kept. Im just nervous about the tranny stores with the 14s. What are your thoughts?
It's 90°+ every day where I live, the ac is constantly running. Plus battery is now 5 years old, it's starting to show it's age. Thanks for the feedback though!
