man, i'd absolutely love to play this, but it's just so darn expensive, i'll wait for a heavy discount, totally a reason there's so few players too along with not much marketting
I'm always happy about games that let you actively control capital ships. Too bad that the game is online only and doesn't have a dedicated offline mode.
I don't want to say some bad words but as an galactic supporter, I feel this game is already doomed. Star citizen basically improve every day. I don't know if this project still has chance to live.
There was another game out there that had ship to ship battles (interior), I remember watching a video and seeing game play of. Was it this game or another space shooter?
I have been looking at RaCe SiMS, full set ups i.e. motion-chair, 3panel display, pedals, steering wheels etc. etc. I love racing but I really dream of SPACE battles. I have never gone beyond the minimal race set up like just a iPAD or back further x-box stuff. I am 60 & have the time now & really would like to go into this SPACE COMBAT area in a totally serious way. So this looks & sounds like what I am looking for. Do you oR anyone reading this have any suggestions ??? Are space SiMS capable of the stuff RaCe SiMS are respectfuly?!?? Thanks man for the video, looks cool & the background of the development makes perfect sense. Also I wonder if the race-sim set ups could mod for this type of SiM oR would that fall into FLiGHT SiM. . . . . .. . I have no freaking clue really of either as described above maybe so what ya say bro !? Again thank you for posting this and looking forward to replys/comments AlwaysForward~Godspeed
Nothing is pay to win, all points and upgrades must be earned in game. There is planned cosmetics in the future, however these are also planned to be earned through achievements
I'm all in. Just give us a mission based story campaign, (no need for expensive voiceovers or fmv.) An offline arcade mode, less focus on multi, multi, multi, multiplayer. I'm then sold. Because If this is another multiplayer 'online' only, PC only stinker, then the Devs can stuff it. It'll then be designated as just another simple no brainer that will eventually be fuelled by loot crates, purchasable ships and skins. LIKE ALWAYS.. Gamer's are fed up of it.
i mean i respect your opinion ofc but saying that this game have better combat mechanics compared to star citizen ONLY based on the fact that star citizen have a difficult learning curve, makes no point, plus you cant compare a game thats a "simulator" with this one thats purely arcade
this game needs logistics gameplay and a war system similar to foxhole to keep players interested, where you fight for control of the map and its resources to make more stuff to destroy the enemy and win the war.
Looks promising especially in light of Dreadnoughts final demise. I'll look at the sale price on the 22 on Steam. As of today it IS 34 dollars. Good video.
The oldest galaxy in the Universe has a big circle of solid rock around its central black hole. Some videos show it on RU-vid. It would be great in computer space games, very spectacular.
Yo what do you think of the new gameplay loops? I absolutely love them it’s just so satisfying and with the orbital bombardment in the new patch it’s just all coming together ❤️
The new orbital cannons look really fun. I havent gotten a chance to play with them yet, but I did watch their livestream yesterday. They seem hard to aim, but have a massive damage potential
@@Sevensup you gotta give them a go it’s added such a unique thing of orbital battles that happen whilst the assault is also happening it’s so organic. Love the video as well mate
I remember years ago when they were launching the engine prototype and because the development was so slow, No Mans Sky, Star Citizen and even Elite Dangerous catched up and launched. They had an crowdfunding to make the game bigger (to have trades, quests and stuff) but only the combat goal was reached. It still stayed barebones for quite a while, with the company even trying to push for an space simulation engine to other projects/games so they could raise more funds. All in all, im glad that almost 10 years later the game finally took shape.
You can target ships, but you'll need to manually track and fire weapons to hit a target. Capital ships can automate their weapon systems to target multiple enemies, or manually aim for concentrated fire
Most of the players that are giving it good reviews have played it for about as long as a Call of Duty campaign. Not exactly keeping asses in seat for such an amazing space game. I'll just stick to SC.
Are people still playing this? It's piqued my interest but steam charts is reporting like single digit player numbers. Is there a single player component I'm missing?
