Gareth Southgate is not as bad as people make out what he has achieved since 2018 has been amazing in 2018 England could of dreamt going to semi or quarter finals but Thats the standard for us now... If England go out in anything before the semi or even dont win the tournament they get hate. The standard and expectation is so high now I remember the England in 2018 where we struggled against Croatia or Columbia. The problem with Southgate is England's team has the best attacking force out of any nation hundreds of millions just sitting on the bench yet they still play defensively and what I think the problem is England get put in unfamiliar systems we all know harry Kane being a false 9 was useless our wingers would pass back and not cut inside our defence crumbles under pressure and Pickford only long balls. England need the balance of world class players and balance they have a team that are not cohesive players like sterling will create changes same with Phil Foden same with palmer jack grealish the fact we have so much talent and can never utilize it upsets me... I hope England get a decent manager because lets face it the way England are going they will win either a euros or world cup in the next 10 years

Welcome back Zekko! Everyone is underestimating us. While Zubimendi would have been a great signing, I think this team has enough to challenge for the title. Our team is young and they'll be another year older and more experienced after last year's title challenge. They will know what will be needed more to win. Slot's tactics suit our squad composition.
Everyone talking about Ipswich being having that newly promored energy, nobody seems to be talking about how Liverpool have that new manager energy! Whereas all the starting 11 were basically guaranteed to play week in week out under Klopp, now, every single player is fighting for their place in the team again! This is going to be a different animal to the comfortable, negative 11 that had no energy last season. Drained by Klopps constant moaning about kickoff times, refs etc etc.. just moaning about absolutely everything. That type of energy 100% filtered down to the players last season. He was right. He lost the energy, and that transferred to the players. Ps. I absolutely LOVE Klopp btw, just last season he didn't do us any favours whatsoever. Announcing you're leaving midway through a title race that you're winning, then proceeding to moan about absolutely everything possible. Turned the place into such a negative atmosphere, whereas over at City and Arsenal, they were energetic and confident with no excuses. I predict we see a very talented Liverpool team with a remewed sense of energy, attacking the league from the off with positivity and aggression. I predict a 10+ game winstreak first 10 games. These players are more than good enough. They were just bogged down last season by negativity. Lets GO!
Klopp won the league and added another Champions League, beeing out spent by clubs like Newcastle, Aston Villa and Everton. Half the wages of city and United for years. He put Liverpool back as one of the elite fotball clubs in the world. If you think things will go better with a new manager, and same ownership you are deluded. Chelsea spent more in 1 Season, then Klopps total net spend in Liverpool since he arrived.

Lazy? I’m not sure about that, I think quite a few people have Liverpool lower. I just don’t think they’ve quite got enough in Slots FIRST season to beat both Arsenal and Man City. I think they’re a really good side, but the third best side in England I think. Could change with signings though.

Totally agree regards Harvey I think this season he will thrive under this new style of play , he is a young player I have watched from day1 prior to his injury he was a little warrior & he bounced back & for a small in stature player his grit & determination made up for that there have been times when he was the only player that showed up he is Liverpool through & through you can see what it means to him & that's all you can ask for as a fan exciting times ahead
I appreciate what you’re saying, but at the time I felt it necessary to break down why England were struggling so much. They did in fact improve on some aspects I spoke about, but the quality of player was much higher than what they showed at that time so at the time of recording, it was warranted I feel. They did well to reach the final after though.
I think Arsenal conceding less than 15 is crazy. I think Arsenal wins the league as well, but the difference is Chelsea had Petr Cech in goal compared to David Raya. Arsenal concedes somewhere between 24-32 goals imo.
I completely understand, for me it was difficult.. while they have signed really well, I still wonder about Lopetegui, whether his football can be both effective and pro active, at Wolves and other clubs he doesn’t necessarily create too many chances and if that’s the case you’re relying more on moments. A lot of players have been bought and with that comes a time for them to bed in, gel and get to know each others dendencies, especially in defence. Overall I think they’ve got a good squad, with good talent BUT they will need a bit of time to find themselves and get the rhythm they want to play at, and it’s that time that I think might just cost them. Hopefully I explained that well enough, if not and you’d like to know something specific then don’t hesitate to ask😊 I think they’re knocking on the door, just not quite there YET, for West Ham’s sake though, I hope I’m wrong👍 Thanks for watching mate!
Yeah, it was a difficult one to be honest bud, I don’t feel great about my Villa shout but I just see all the incomings, the need to gel, the loss of the goals from Luiz and Diaby and think there might be too much for Watkins to do. Hope I’m wrong for Villa’s sake but I think a great champions league run might swing them away for the league, happy to be wrong though😄. Thanks for watching mate!
