Although I became a die hard Yes fan in 1971, I didn't see them in concert until 1979 in the round at the Long Beach Arena when I was 23 years old. It was a life-altering event for me. I haven't been the same since. I've seen them plenty of times in concert since then, and I finally got to meet them in person and talk with each of them in 2000 at a time when I was playing bass in a Yes tribute band. It was an incredible honor to meet them. RIP Christopher Russell Edward Squire, bass deity. And RIP Alan White, an absolutely epic drummer. I'm now 68 years old (as of May 2024 as I'm typing this) and I am still a die hard fan of that particular Yes line up. Btw, my 40-year old son Jon is named after Jon Anderson, my favorite vocalist of all time.

It always amuses and saddens me when I look through comments on the genius that was "yes" and see grown men, gossiping like little old ladies, about the personalities feuding in this group. Can't you just appreciate the gift they have given us in the music? Who cares if 2 members didn't get along or someone's ego took a hit? It's about the MUSIC. Future generations will look at the brilliance of this and others and then read the incredible amounts of bs gossip that can only take away from the magic. You know who you are guys and you know you just want to sound like the authority on Yes gossip, while copying info from some bs site like wiki. You don't get a medal for pointing out the negative so 🤐 and just love the genius that is and will forever be Yes. It's absolutely cringe worthy for men to do this.

Free advice -> "It doesn't seem to matter at all, at all, at all, at all, at allllllllllllll.. BLAM! -> Chris. I have seen them three times so far, and I will make as much $ as it takes for more. Because it doesn't seem to matter at all.

I have some serious classical musicians and composers that would argue that point. Don't make absolute statements that are incorrect. This might be the most beautiful to you, but music is suggestive, like love. We all love what we love and it's not wrong or right. Just different.
