Car enthusiast who decided to create a RU-vid channel :)
I am Simtatic. I create automotive content, so my videos are mainly about cars but they can be about bikes, trucks, traffic and other similar topics related to cars.
NEWS: After years of speculation and rumors, Hyundai has finally confirmed plans to put its highly popular N Vision 74 concept into production. The announcement comes as part of Hyundai's plans to debut 21 new models by the year 2030.
That's a shame as very modern for their times the cars and robust well built. My English father always said when alive born 1928 so was a teenager in the war years too that the czechslovakians always built robust solid built very fussy on their built to last car finishes compared to other car brands .. Why the skodas of these days probably built better finished o than Volkswagen brothers...
Considering we dont know to recycle batteries efficiently and not polluting the earth e-cars cause pollution same as standard fuel type cars because of batteries,so you can say its a marketing and not a solution.
About the 1990's-2024 chapter, there were other main reason why Lancia was dying: - One of their cars early in 90's had severe rust issues, which made them loose a lot of money and their reputation to go really low. - and due to those heavy losses, they couldn't join any rally sports to save themselves from painfull decline.
And right in the moment of publication of this video there is new Lancia Ypsilon looking like far better car and new model plans for future within Stellantis hehe
Now i don't have a problem against EV's themselves, they can become great cars with time. Look at Hyundai, they are trying hard to make EV's fun with the Ioniq 5 N. In fact, i wouldn't even mind trading my FN2 Type R for a sporty EV. However, i do have a problem with how EU keeps pushing EV's so quickly and intensely while simultaneously making the life of ICE car owners significantly harder over time. EV's at the current stage still should be slowly integrated into the existing market as an alternative to ICE, not as the replacement as EU wants it to be. EV's are also still way too expensive for the general public and alot of necessary infrastructure to support them is still missing.
@@sztorm94 Sure, i get that. But then i would get car enthusiasts complaining that i am spelling it wrong. Lose lose situation. I think with the Thumbnail/Title context its easy to understand. But thanks for the feedback!
@@Simtatic I'm sure that the same car enthusiasts cannot say correctly Hyundai, Wartburg, Škoda or Jelcz. Of course, it is your decision, but the "car enthusiast" argument is kind of invalid here. For some reason city names have different than native pronunciation in other languages. Outside german speaking countries, nobody says Köln, Mönchengladbach or München. Outside Poland, nobody says Warszawa, Szczecin or Wrocław. Same for consumer electronics. Have you ever heard on the street that someone pronounced Samsung correctly. People have problems saying Apple in the way it should be pronounced while this is just a regular english word
Is anyone talking about the fact that they BURN DIESEL and COAL for make the energy on the entire world? Everyone talks about how the oil is made, and Everyone knows, but, who talks about How the energy is made, in most parts of the world?
I don't mind all the electric cars like the Polestar 2 but it would be nice if enthusiast cars stayed gas powered and holy hell we don't want SUVs and Crossovers
Scania and volvo are not really competitors of tatra, tatra makes work vehicles for offroad, while these companies focus on 18-wheelers for towing cargo on highways. Currently the company is running at 100% capacity, they have to refuse or delay orders. Which is quite impressive, considering that americans tried a hostile overtake, to remove competition. Tatra has huge military division as well, it is quite probable that India will use them again for their incomparable terrain performance and reliabilty. It is also one of the few companies capable to provide it´s own engine, making the country immune to american sanctions, while allies may purchase the trucks with paccard engine, which has spare parts distribution centers all over the globe.
Thats true, i shouldve mentioned that. Volvo/Scania are more focused on normal cargo transportation while Tatra has high end trucks for offroad, military etc as you mentioned. I just wanted to compare the sales numbers with more known truck companies. Tatra is pretty successful in their nieche own nieche.
@@Simtatic In addition to military, there are also firefighter trucks. But most are made by different companies, they just buy the truck and complete the rest. It is similar with military, while tatra has daughter company to build military vehicles, there are specialised companies buying the chassis and finishing the truck itself. Slovak company making artillery Zuzana, czech company Excalibur army or even French Nexter. I think Tatra Defense also owns licence to produce Pandur IFV, which is exported to Indonesia. The management of this company is saying, that each signed deal is special, they do not produce large batches for a decade, which means their engineering is always developing and upgrading the vehicles. This means they have way more innovation and capability to accept weird requests, than most huge companies can. Try to look up Sleipnir, or the crabwalking 10x10, armored firefighting vehicle for oil refineries and vehicles with anti-mine protection.
