Awesome tutorial thank you. I can't open quick sampler for some reason. When I option click on the audio track selection and drag it to the grey it doesn't create a new track with the drop down you show. Any idea why? It's Logic Pro 10.7 so it does have it. Any idea why it is doing that, or any other way that I can create a Quick Sampler track?
Thank you so much! I'm just starting to learn that stuff and it's so hard to make something with basic sounds, I was almost done but then I found your video, thank you! You saved my time and my nerves
I'm at the 5:42 mark and had to pause just to say this. I NEVER KNEW about the bracket line at the top right of the sample. only at the bottom right. That was a dope tip, the little things matters lol
Recording audio to your voice note is also a great way to check. You can actually see the audio being recorded & play it back to see if it"s too loud or to low in volume. Here's a tip, if the waveform on the recording looks like a block then that means you're too loud & It'll be distorted. You can adjust levels while recording. It has to visually look like it's not over compressed. Hope this helps!
so this tempo setting in logic looks like joke. I have a live track in 127.25 bpm (its easy sets by digits) and I need to setup HALF TIME in 63.625 bpm - no any chances to setup 63.625 by this way and setting by "digits" just not supported. only by childish "curve moving". fuck the apple.
lol someone can steal your stuff either way tho... they can take your chord progressions, keys, drum patterns and just remake it and even make it sound the exact same. heck with ai now you can send it to this one app that does it all for you in like 30secs. thats why i think its pointless to add that many tags i would just add one tag cause multiple tags gets annoying for the artist and they don't wanna even work on it before they buy which = less sales. i know i'ma skip over a beat that has too many tags on it can't even hear myself think.
