It was the same issues on the Glory this pass weekend. We had a whole motorcycle gang on our cruise, but they were the cool one. There were a bunch of hood grown folks and loud children. Food was great.
Thank you for posting this video, after watching I’ve made the decision to go ahead and book the Resort World excursion for our cruise In November. It looks like you spend money either way (excursion or no excursion) and I’d rather not mess with the nonsense. Lol. Also, you are correct the shorter cruises on the older smaller ships are where you see the ‘riff riff’ try one of the bigger ships…. Vista, Horizon, Mardi Gras, Magic, Celebration, Jubille next time. ❤
ust went to Radio Beach in July. The beach is located in the middle of run down shacks and litter everywhere. We seen old appliances , abandoned rusty cars and 55 gallon barrels of trash everywhere. Definitely not what we imagined after viewing RU-vid videos. Basically the island is a 3rd world country. All the golf carts were a minimum of $100 / day which is more than any rental car in the USA. Hopefully the locals take more pride in their island and clean it up if they want ships to continue to port there! I don’t recommend this place to anyone.
We rented a golf cart one dude said $100 another dude said $80 so we got it. Then we went to the free beach at the end of the beach and snorkeled I brought gear from Amazon that I bought. We had trouble getting food on the island no one wanted to serve us. 🤷🏻♀️ we went to a cool looking place they never came to our table so we left. We went to the other place same thing. We went to the pizza place which we didn’t want to do cause we wanted some local type food. The lady was super rude but we was hungry. My daughter ordered conche fritter she told her to go next door to the place that wouldn’t come to our table. I asked for a patty melt she said no patties. The drinks just said sodas I asked what kind she was mad cause I asked. But the snorkeling was fantastic!! I am low vision and the water was so clear I could see all kinds of fish so I was tickled to knock that off my bucket list
I enjoyed Bimini because we mostly swam at that beautiful free beach at the end of island. If it wasn’t for that i would have been disappointed with it as well because there were a lot of bad experiences there and at Freeport
Virgin voyages owns the private beach there at Bimini and the signs all around tell you the facts about it and when you book your cruise, they tell you about Virgin Voyagers ownership
You mention you can afford it. Be generous when you are on smaller Islands. They dont raise the price for you. The cruise ships and RW subsidize prices and take revenue from Island locals. These family Islands get 1 maybe 2 ships a week with supplies. They struggle to maintain normal supplies. When you make a visit to Bimini or other Family Islands in the Bahamas expect them to be uncomplicated and rustic If you prefer shopping etc. make sure your ports of call offer. Please don't be upset with Bimini. The Port and resort do little to support locals. Many of the workera come from other Islands. The entire population of North and South Bimini is about a third less than the number of people on your ship. I will take a guess that you have never been to such a remote authentic place. Spend your money that you say you have with Locals and know you are helping them survive. Large commercial ports are not the Island life experience. I don't know what you do for a living but I bet you are overpaid and earn 4-5 times or more these local Islanders do. Try Sint Maarten and St Barts. If you want shopping. Better yet. Just stay in Miami.
i went in november 2022 and I was a little disappointed I cruised during hurricane season. my itinerary changed but virgin made the best of it. we had an extra sail day. oh, I didn't get to go to Bimini so I must sail with them again. the pajama party during my sailing was inside too. i didn't stay long.
Hey Nesha 👋🏻 You all looked great for that dinner cruise I loved the black and white combination that gave you each your own look but you all still looked together hope that makes sense anyways can't wait for part three that is how I actually first came across your vlogs is when I was researching cruise ships and you guys were on an MSC cruise then almost feels like full circle for me ... The museum of the Future was so cool! What a beautiful building. Going to switch over to your other vlog so see you soon😊
