i don't ilke the necromancy + rejuvination requirement. Those effects counter one another in the lore and people hate it when you make potions that way. .but it is required. I don't hate it for the lore, I hate it because they are on opposite sides of the darn map. :P
4 goldthron gets you lv.3 slow easily. it's nice when they ask for slow with 'one ingredient'. it's also useful for getting lv.3 protection, which is beneath strength. one mudshroom and one goldthorn is gold for that potion. Goldthorn is incredibly useful if used right. using the whirlpools is kind of necessary in some cases though, not the teleport but the movement. 26:00 you show up at jobfair in 'tweed'? I thought you were going to say 'twill.' xD if you don't know, nevermind. :P
the grindy bits are now here, getting that10k recipe.. *sigh* but still, once you make it all and are finished, you can see just how clever you can make potions and how much they are willing to pay once you have everything and are very meticulous with using whirl pools, salt.. down to the grain, etc. a good 30k potion is not unheard of...
The evil route makes more money I'm noticing. and no penalties for it. 10:50 "madam.. or sir... I don't understand humans." mmm same with me, being a dragon and all.
@@Scrambleking. a few are useful. One mudshroom can get you lv.3 strength potion if you use the whirl pool to the south and that mushroom. Some are very useful... most just help you 'move along' and are helpful that way :) But some 'do' help you navigate tight areas.. but most are duds and that's intentionally trolly .. *sigh*
try to make 'highlander' potions.. that is, potions with 'only one' of an ingredient unless special order. Why? Well mechanically, the fewer repeats you have in a potion, the more of that potion you can brew. You are only limited in quantity with the most limiting ingredient which still may be several dozen/hundred. I've been refining my old recipes for this reason, taking away the old and ensuring my typical potions are of only one each.
Aye, I should, though I will note stream-wise we are already further ahead. I think the only thing I don't have hundreds of is crystals (though I think ill be refactoring at least some later today anyway)
@@Scrambleking. Same with me, my goal now is 1000 of everything, but crystals.. I buy him out all the time and still I have less than 100 of some of them. Just.. rare.
Remember you can 'ride the whirl pools' using the bellows. if you go slow, you can use far less ingredients as you can get 'just a bit closer' to many icons. Yes if you use bellows and you go to the center of them, they teleport you to a fixed location. Sometimes useful, often times not.
If you click on the star just above your ingredients, you'll see the 8 prongs have identifiers. hovering over each star point tells you the 'theme' of that direction. Clicking on it sorts your ingredient list by most relevant ingredients for that direction.
Aye I tend to ignore whirlpools in favor of ingredients use as I can plan it all out, and it requires brain power. As for the star I just managed to figure that out these past 2 or so streams XD
rotation.. you must make the prior salt first. Moon and Sun salt rotate. You can't make one without the other, due to that protection 3 potion needing rotation. So you need the prior salt recipe first.
@@Scrambleking. yeah those help a lot. that's why I don't just mash tones of ingredients before I stir. I use one or two at most till I'm near a whirl pool and then gently ride it around to be more optimal.. especially when going north with that 'bell' ingredient that I actually love using. makes getting 'invisibility' easier. I also expand the 'healing' potions because as we know even at max haggling/trading they just don't sell for much, even at tier 3. But if you give them a x3 health + x2 sleep, let's say, it improves the price three to five times the typical and only takes a few more ingredients. :)
If memory serves (which it oft doesnt), the *first* time I opened it up, crossed the bridge, got stuck at the wall, hit esc, saw the time limit, saw the map's branching paths, said no, quit =P
There's a ton of small details as well. Some of those paths go much farther than you'd think sometimes. Though it's one of my favorite games. Watching you cheese a ton of these puzzles was a blast lol

It was a very promising run, but Apoc 1 on Elderlicht is quite challenging for sure, especially for a streamer i think :) I've you played some other game yesterday, will there be some more Last Spell to beat the game ? :) i totally believe you can defeat Elderlicht on Apoc 1 cuz you would do it this time if not for just one moment of losing concentration when you left a couple heroes exposed ! Pls don't give up, King :) ⚜⚜⚜
I do plan to win all on Apoc 1 (and further Apoc if i ever stream more per week). It was the day after I got a plate removed from my wrist and I'm not at my place, so I didn't want to stream too long for pain+fatigue

it's very strange.... I'm playing exaclty Apocalyps 1 difficulty and on this 13th night i got 8 apparitions with 50 hp (10action points to kill) the F? Game? Or maybe there is an omen that i don't know off ? and i got Elite Twisted who charges and shoots in one move , and Elite Bulky with 10k hp and 1k armor :)
damm dude if only you had like, a character with a huge AOE move like lighting strike to deal with the big horde more confidently, at least you got a juggernaut ballista the next round to cover for the hero cost
