there should be an area where you can learn more about the animal musicians in this ride; i know a rabbit uses a license plate taken from the car seen in the ride's queue as a washboard and also to reduce his anxiety (or something, but that is what others' videos say)
I think the log toys have rabbits on them because they were originally going to leave the Brer Rabbit heads on the Disneyland logs, but was scraped last minute and removed them
@@wdiprojectx i will be going to Wdw soon and missed the closing of Splash. It was my all time favorite ride. Will be weird riding the ride and going into Critter Co Op for the first time. I do see that not much has changed which should be nice for nostalgia.
@@gimmm9671 yesterday I just sat in the outdoor queue area listening to the background music is so weird because it looks like splash still.. it’s a radio station playing music on megaphones 📢.. I waited all day to go on yesterday and the ride was down my entire day unfortunately… still have not been on yet
Splash will likely stay in Tokyo because the entire area is themed off of it. This was my favorite ride at magic kingdom and it breaks my heart that they redid it. Tiana’s blows.
i think they should replace the hydraulic animatronics with electric ones since im sure the electric animatronics are easier to maintain (even though they are almost never broken in tokyo disneyland)
This is now the only way to see the original show! The new show at WDW is good, but the OG show is still better. And the bears are sooooo well maintained here
I guess the only 2 ways to experience Dinosaur stuff in Disney theme parks are in Disneyland Railroad and Western River Railroad at Tokyo Disneyland... R.I.P Dinoland USA at Disney's Animal Kingdom 1998-2024
That is a great topic how Dinosaurs are slowly going extinct across Disney Parks… I feel the only one that will be forever is the Disneyland Railroad. Dinosaur is such a major part of the Animal Kingdom experience and I wish they would have just updated it and built Indiana Jones somewhere else. Animal Kingdom original ideas attractions are slowly becoming IP driven with Zootopia on the way too and potentially The Way of Water expansion behind Pandora… depending if the light turns green. DAK has a bright future as well….
To Chuck E Cheese's Illinois: Can't find your comment to reply. Well in my drawings the big drop is 50' and on the big lift there's Brer Rabbit tied to a stake and a film of Brer Fox getting ready to eat him. Brer Rabbit then says "Don't throw me in the briar patch"
It's just disappointing that The Ceo of Disney "Bob Iger" thought it would be a good idea to get rid of a beloved and an amazing Attraction. When I was little I only went to "DisneyWorld" in 2011 and I wanted to go on Splash mountain but i wasn't tall enough to ride it, that made me upset. When i didn't know what the ride was about nor how cool it would've been to get that Opportunity. I would probably say two years ago i got myself into Splash Mountain/Song of the south Craze of Liking the Brer Characters very much to the story and that banger of a Song "Zip-a-dee-do-da". I'm just hoping some day we can get Splash back, it really sucks of Society is now adays. But I'm glad that Splash is still doing well in Tokyo. Let's hope that freaking CEO doesn't touch this amazing Attraction. 😤
Iger is a massive turd, don't get me wrong. But the biggest problem are these insane activist shareholders like BlackRock that don't incentivize, but FORCE, big companies like Disney to become activists through censorship, removal or pushing specific agendas. Rides have been unnecessarily sanitized like PotC and ESPECIALLY Jungle Cruise, but Splash Mountain is the worst victim so far. Until these shareholders are stopped through proper legislation, this insanity will never end, especially in the US.
How does this one look compared to the one in California? We normally don't go on Jungle Cruise but this recommended to ride when I go in 15 days to Tokyo Disney?
Is it better to ride this at daytime or night? This will be my first time riding this when I go on June 25, 2024. It was closed the last time I went in June 2019.
Why is this SO POPULAR? At least it's good it reopens before I go this month of June 2024! The only ride that will be closed when I'm there is Sindbad.
