😂😂😂 man how did this random twilight zone episode song blow up on youtube. Cant post anything on here. The funniest thing is that among twilight zone fans this episode is considered a turkey though its always been my favorite
I recently watched the entire Twilight Zone series with the grandkids. In this one, it seemed like the characters were playing out the lyrics of the song, very much like the Music Videos we see (used to see) on MTV. What made this funny was that he (the Wanderer) was the last to know he was not really alive, they were just characters that came to life when that song played. She keeps telling him that it always ends the same way...because it is a record. We did laugh, as she sang out his fate, he said, "Would you STOP THAT??" She was killing him (softly?) with her song.
I love this version but i gotta admit "Jackass boys" really nailed it and mainly because they put a lot of stupidity, love and comedy in it. It's like the version of "Stairway to heaven" by Frank Zappa. 🤣❤️👌🏽
Blue Crystal Fire by Robbie Basho brought me here. Obviously the algorithm thought, if I'm listening to that, I should listen to this also. The algorithm wins again.
"Come Wander with Me" is the episode's name. The song is quite significant to the story to the point it in a way is the story. It also could be interpreted as being about "cultural appropriation" even if I'm not sure they used that phrase then. (A city boy tries to take Appalachian music for his own, sort of.)
I have always felt like an alien in this world. I just can't understand how humanity can be so cruel, how people can lie, how we slowly kill our planet, how we stopped caring for one and other, how fast this modern world has become, and how to society money and power became more important than life itself. Sometimes when I hear this song I imagine being picked up by my own spiecies, and taking me back home.
You Are Not Alone , Our Art Is What Binds Us In Endless Sorrow For What Enlightenment Could Have Been And That The Dream Is Over...But Here At The Outskirts At The Metaverse We Still Come And Stay Together In True Art And Its Most Teacheable Moment ...The Art Of Melancholie, stated So By Marcella Detroid ...you are not alone even though this world is shattering each and everybody and the Living Planet our Spaceship our Lifesphere is silenced and in the hybris of anybodys own fucking free weeling egotistical tantrum our world is brought to the brink !
I love that people were brought here by Baby Reindeer, but please do yourself a huge favor and watch the Twilight Zone episode it's from. Once you do, it will definitely stay with you.
