Hi there, I am still streaming pretty regularly on twitch & youtube but I don't really have the time to make edited content like this anymore due to work. Thank you for your interest, I hope to be able to return to content like this at some point this year.
Thank you for this guide, is very informative while being broken up well to be digestible and able to be referenced to. Was tearing my hair before cause I played chaos in uniel which is obviously way different than he is now.
I’ve always been interested in UNI and happened to stumble on this video, and I’ve always wanted to play Merkava, for the sole reason of him being a goofy lil fella with wacky wavy arms and wings. I almost always tend to gravitate towards the weirdo characters since they’re often the ones I find the coolest (except Arakune, fuck Arakune!), but I noticed I tend to play largely the same sort of style across games, even if it’s not necessarily the style that best suits the character, mainly a sort of 70:30 mix of MARF and BARF (also please don’t feel bad about the acronym, it’s very funny). Considering I often find myself playing grapplers and have a devil in my ear telling me to HIT BUTTONS RIGHT NOW, THEN DO IT AGAIN, I feel like your personality test theory is pretty accurate! I never really thought much about how I played beyond it basically being “fuck it we ball” or “I’m gambling with both my life and yours”, but your video has articulated that experience in a way that sounds a lot more digestible and less unhinged, and providing characters that might be suited to that playstyle does seem like a helpful place for potential new players like myself to start! I’ll still play the funny screaming noodle monster and probably find out the hard way that shoving a square peg into a circle hole doesn’t often work out perfectly, but hey, Mika always seemed really cool, and her music is fire, so I’m winning either way! TL;DR- cool video, I liked it a lot, hopefully I can become less hopelessly broke and play new a fighting game to recklessly gamble with silly, entirely too committal options!🥲
The "bug" that got removed was the Kara overhead. That's no longer in the patched version of the game. I'm not sure about what the 22A bug was, nothing feels different about that move post-patch.
@@RyerOnStream thanks Ryer, I think the person in chat that mentioned 22A meant the Kara overhead. That’s a shame. I’ve been trying to get some other high low going off of blocked j2c/varying the timing to make it hard to fuzzy/hitting a falling j.a or not but it feels weak tbh. I noticed you corrected your guide in the time stamps which I really appreciate 👍
I wanted to get into uni some more and Chaos always interested me, but trying it I am having a real hard time to do all the special inputs one after another (kind of a fighting game noob all things considered) Any advice on how to improve it/make it easier? Aside from playing more ofc.
It does take practice but I'll say you can do it a lot faster than you might think, the input buffer int his game is quite forgiving, so even if you don't input it perfectly it's better to try to do it quickly than exactly right.
Was always looking to sub him since i main enkidu but Uni2 documentation on chaos is still under way Really appreciate the time you put into this guide
The plinking overhead bit is insane. I can get it to come out in training mode but most of the time I'm too far away to connect j5a. I'm guessing you have to plink it faster than that but I'd be stunned if anyone managed to get a full combo off of that.
@@RyerOnStream Oh, I have no doubt that it combos. I love this guide (thank you for making it) because it covers insane stuff like this but I absolutely suck at plinking. That's why I applaud the people who pull off the sick stuff in real matches.
Im getting into uni and as a Zato fanatic i was really interested in Chaos, but he's probably the least documented character and i was getting a real hard time finding updated info on the character. Your guide was a godsent.
Glad to hear it. If you ever see me streaming feel free to ask questions too. The chaos channel in the undernight discord is also very active, although I don’t post in there much
Enough time has passed, Under Night In Birth II has now been patched. Can we now all admit that Under Night In Birth II is the new greatest fighting game in the world for all eternity, that anyone who disagrees with me is wrong, and we need to spread the word worldwide like it's the newest wave of Kagura Bachi fever? Matter of fact, spread some more Kagura Bachi love to Japan too! SO gogogo, boys, tell the whole world this: Lobotomy Kaisen is dead, & LOBOTOMY IN-BIRTH HAS BEEN BORN!!!!!!!

I don’t think the core list has changed much. No character does anything that different from the previous version, many of them just do it better. As for the new characters I’ll have to get some experience with them before placing them
Some names to look out for: AtlasOmega - Streams & Videos (YT) ESFCMario - Streams (unsure about twitter/YT) Schoolbus/Sometimes_Fendo (Streams & puts tech on twitter) Other Notable Players (not sure about content from them): Redblade Knotts

Both good choices! Chaos did have some changes since the beta and I feel he's got some potential. Eltnum is also really good in this new version. Hope to see you in the ranked streets!
@@RyerOnStreamtank u for the response! Yes I just finished da vid, I was pretty worried because Im a strive zato who just saw his puppet char. gutted so ur talking points scared me, but then 2BC saves it hahaah. thanks for the fun talk
I put myself in bnrf with a few of those being tentative as my habits change over time as I am trying to get better at fighters. MARF had both my character choices, though, which amused me. BARS sounds like what happens actually happens in my games. Early rounds are rough, and at some point, it flips, and my friends quit after losing 10 rounds in a row.
My friend told me chaos mix is kind of weak. Trying to land on a main. Do you have an opinion on that or a good video/piece of doc for me to read on his setplay? I play puppet characters in other games but partly because I like to put people in the blender just with a puppet
Hi, I will actually be recording a Chaos guide tonight live on my channel here and on twitch then editing it and uploading it here. It will hopefully cover everything you asked about here. I think of characters who have "mix" in Under Night, Chaos is among them. Defense is very strong in Under Night so strike/throw often is the go-to option rather than 50/50 or guess style mixups. New tech was just found that I show off in this video here and he also has left/right mixups using his roll in conjunction with Azhi. If you're familiar with Blazblue he's a lot like Relius Clover Thanks for watching, I hope this gives some direction, and if you ever catch me live I'm always down to chat and show some of what I'm talking about.
@@RyerOnStream honestly this helps a lot already. I love relius. I think probably I just need to make my peace with strike throw haha. I love everything else about him. Sandwhich pressure is such a vibe in every game I will watch your guide for sure but I’ll try to be there for the recording (: love your content
At first i thought i was bnrf, then i thought about it and turned out mnof, after hearing both of them ive realised i have no clue what type i am, being pretty new to fighting games is it practical using these types of systems to decide my main?
