Hey, Ganeto! I’ve been away for a while good to see you again! I just went from 1900 to 2400 in 6 sets! Shadow Skarm/ Turtonator/ Giratina team. Crazy how good Tina is as a switch and Turt what a closer! And shadow Skarm is no fun for the opponent 😈
Great battles!! I like how this trainer knows how to play Escav! Faced so many Escavs in the past who only throw Acid Sprays😅 (the reason I usually no shield vs Escav)
Thanks for showcasing my battles😁!! I forgot to mention I climbed 200 elo with this team to Veteran rank, that's why I gave recording my battles another go (it has been a long time ago haha)
What rank is this? Like why would Togademaru throw out multiple felt stingers when discharge is the best move of choice and a fast charge? Also the stats are so bad on each pokemon. Ice beam isn’t a bad adaptation to meta to deal with ground types more effectively but there is no way this team is preforming at the top level with these stats and questionable shield choices. Has to be under rank 12.
Stop using Azu be more creative everyone uses same pokemon watching these vids are boring...I'm running drāgele (spelt wrong lol?) magneton, and force palm Lucario... Since no ground this team destroys n I don't mind seeing the boring Azu it dies easy enough
your info is wrong. The team is trash. 5 battles, hard countered for everyone. try galarian stunfisk, shiinotic/whimsicott, lucario w/force palm. all charge/fast atks suggested from pvpoke.
I love greninja in GL ik hes better in UL but man.... his pressure is insane. My squad annihilape lead, shadow feraligatr, skarmory has been making short work
I think water gun lanturn is extremely safe. There's almost no grasses, it's very bulky, applies great fast pressure and gets to the moves fast enough. I can't tel you how many mudbois I have flipped switch on with it. Quagsire running no mudbomb now helps even more.
@bobbyrdayton9866 you're 1 in like 40 battles for me. Usually victrebell gets lined up on my lead or closer though so no worries. If ever its a switch punish, lanturn can still chunk, especially shadow magic leaf. Build around the one grass weakness with 2 solid pokemon and you have yourself a top team. Only other problem is dragons and Grass and dragon share a weakness, ice. Do with that what you will. Also all of grasses other weaknesses except for fire, dragon is neutral to. Even so, lanturn is so bulky, and water gun/surf/bolt are all such good moves, it can create winning situations even when punished by a grass or dragon.
I think all the mudbois (Swampert, Quag, Cash) are safe picks, just have to be wary of non grass types that have grass type moves like Cres, I feel like grass isn't too present in great league at the moment
Tbh, at first I was using it with Last Resort so I was getting walled by Carbinks and Poliwraths for some reason. With Psychic I had better match ups against them but I didn't use it much. Looking back now, it's definitely worth trying safe switch Umbreon!
This is the main asset of this Team. You need to aggressively switch in there with your Charjabug, finish off that steel type that you are gonna draw out (meaning with Charjabug), with your Swampert (meaning to finish the steel type with Swampert) Sorry if it was confusing 😅
I'm losing so much ELO due to lag. For real... I fail catches, I overtap, or simply my move does not go trigger despite clicking on multiple occasions. They gave a free premium pass... But it does not compensate the 200 ELO I've lost...
I like to pick teams that are a mix of meta but also pokemon that I like a lot. Like sometimes I’ll randomly have the urge to play a Frosslass team. I don’t like feeling like I HAVE to play main meta mons. I also like playing with pokemon that were good when I first started playing (for nostalgia)
Really depends on what appears to be the “meta” that season/week/day. But I also pick a lead and build the rest around it. And usually the lead is something strong that may have double weakness (ex. Quagsire, ferro) because the two mons in the back can help me align my lead away from the counter. My current team does have a charjabug lead and this video’s team would spell trouble for me 🤔
