The Randy Savage Ricky Steamboat match is an all-time classic. It is still one of my top five favorite matches of all time.

He was the best because he was actually believable, everything he said was true. 1997 when i was 14 was the greatest year in pro WRESTLING history, the WWF was so good every week i was totally hooked. When Bret left I was absolutely gutted

I had all of these too. And I sent away for back issues I didn't have. I have been a wrestling fan since mid 1981.

I had all of these as a kid. Never missed an issue. To see all these gorgeous covers again brings back great memories.😊

Getting to experience these events in real time was something else. I remember getting to watch the first Barely Legal live on PPV and often they would show the arena shows on their weekly TV. 1997 was such a fun year to be a wrestling fan.
