This is not talked about enough! I lost my first pregnancy due to prenatal depression. I wish a had more awareness on this topic at the time. Turning to a mental health professional didn't even cross my mind back then.

goid evening dr. i am a nonmedical person interested in medical science. it is my hobby to read medical books. i have a problem ie in the epigastric bottom right side and 3 inches above the umbilical region. i have the symptom of hernia for the past years without pain. i feel it during heavy cough, sneezing, stooping for a prolonged time and during sitting position to wash my clothes or clean floors. i have the cramped muscles inside with a mild rigidity of muscles with mild muscle protrusion only felt if the area is massaged. it disappears if i stand erect. only once the bulg was more and it took at least 4 minutes to normal followed by mild massage over the area and standing. i am 65y, retired, pure veg. may i know what is it dr. i have no fear to undergo surgery but wish to avoid it after knowing what to do live with the same status without aggravation following doctors advice, food, dos and donts. much obliged for your advice.
I respect & adore Dr. Bhatt!! Not only was he a colleague where we worked in the same hospital, I am a RN, but he was my physician, & he also cared for both my daughters. Dr. Bhatt saved my oldest daughter’s life. He did surgery her first when she was 19, & then her second when she was 20. She had cervical cancer, the first surgery he thought he got enough to where she would be safe from the cancer, and be able to have children eventually. At age 20 it came back & Dr. Bhatt had to be more aggressive. She just turned 30 a few months ago & just got married. We pray that when they decide they want children, God will bless us with a healthy grandchild! Dr. Bhatt also removed some cysts off of my youngest daughter’s ovaries. And he did my ablation, which has been a complete Blessing from God! My youngest daughter is almost 28 years old & has blessed us with 2 beautiful granddaughters. However, the 1st came 3 months early, so when we showed up at the hospital and they test the fluid that was running literally out of my daughter, and realized the sac had ruptured, they sent us to another hospital that had a NICU. She managed to keep her inside for a week; however, she made her appearance & was screaming within seconds. I was never so happy to hear a baby cry!! She was only one 1/32 L of O2, and spent her 3 months in the NICU, then our daughter brought her home! Her next pregnancy, I injected a medication into her right/left buttock once weekly. The medication helped keep the cervix thick and the fetus inside until at the end when the injections were stopped & the cervix was allowed to thin. My daughters both suffer like I did with heavy menstrual cycles, ones that last for 2-3 weeks, and the cramping is terrible. Dr. Bhatt did my ablation almost 10 years ago and that’s the best thing ever. Then he moved away, and we wish he was back here working in this area!! My daughter has decided that after her 2nd child was born, she wasn’t going to have anymore. But because she was 26 years old at the time, no doctor in our area wanted to tie/cut/remove her tubes. Her OB/GYN finally agreed because she was like, listen, I have issues with pregnancies,,I have to worry if my body isn’t going to cooperate and I’ll have another premature birth. So, if I know 2 children is all I want, I know it’s dangerous for a potential future child should I become pregnant, why can’t I just have the surgery to ensure that pregnancy won’t happen. Now she’s still bleeding for weeks at a time, having to wear XXL tampons, and heavy flow pads at the same time. Sometimes, in just an hour after having changed to all fresh clean tampons/pads, she stands up & blood is running down her legs. Yet, she can’t find not one OB/GYN who will preform an ablation on her. I sure wish Dr. Bhatt was here!! It’s sad to watch my girls suffer as I did, before Dr. Bhatt fixed the problem. You are very fortunate to have such a kind, caring and compassionate doctor, please be good to him & treat him well for he is missed in the Md/Pa area!!!
