Cool. Is thee a video where i can see your template in action? I only see the salespage with short info, but not like a tutorial or video showing whats inside. i like to see it in notion a bit more 🙂
I'm shocked people aren't taught this in school. I'm a guy and I learned this in school. I forgot the details of course but I'd like to think if I was a woman I'd have been taught it and remember it. But obviously if you're not taught the cycle then you can't consider it with the same level of sophistication. That being said, it's still not taught very well in the UK. And the effects of hormone cycles aren't considered on a social context. Men also have a hormone cycle but it's almost never talked about. Hormones should never be used to shame people for feeling moody or sensitive. But at the same time they are real and have real effects on our moods. Understanding them can be very helpful.
Ok for those of us that don’t want a device that can be used to listen in on them, this is unhelpful. Remember there are activists, SW, immigrants lol Too many reminders and I am overwhelmed
i just removed a playlist out of a folder without losing it. right-click on the playlist picture and it says something like out take it out folder [in not so many words]. do this. add 1 song to a new playlist and create a folder for the playlist. then right-click on that folder and take the playlist out of it. to practice. then remove the empty folder. it is confusing, i agree, and requires trying it out to see how it works. you can rename playlists and folders, which is cool. i am using windows with the Spot. app.
Be careful of Tulsi tea because it can negatively effect fertility if one wants to plan on having children or if one has children and wants more. Please reconsider not drinking it until you've had all the children you want. If having children isn't a certain, the Tulsi is fine.
Hmm… I had it recommended by a naturopath I follow online for acne. I’m not currently trying to become pregnant so for me it’s not an issue but good to know for those who are
I transitioned to Notion from Evernote. The import process couldn't cope with the number of notes I had and failed twice. I didn't notice for a while that Notion kept my partial imports, so now I have 2 or 3 copies of 1000s of notes. Is there an easy way to find duplicates? Nope. How about find the latest version of a note? Uh uh. The Android mobile app doesn't even let you select all text in a note! I'm yet to be impressed with Notion.
If you export it as a link, you can embed it in Notion and work with it directly in Notion :) Just a little tip that I find very good, because then I don't have to keep switching between pages. Thanks for the Video :)
i found notion utterly mystifying. like there's no frame of reference t know whether you're picking the right [thing] or just fumbling with whatever features you can find and wondering if you guessed right. watched 400 videos bc it seemed like N was the only such app that my nd brain had a chance at being able to crack and use. it was really disappointing bc every day i encounter expensive, life-ruining, dream-destroying problems that come from my inability to organize or find things. if anyone ever reads this comment, is there a way to use N the same way i use my floor and tables to keep important prophecy's and documents visible and accessible? bc every productivity app or whatever is hard to use, hidden when not in use, hard to find the thing you need, so high friction, high opacity. anybody?
I love Notion because it is so freeform but I think the bigger questions that needs to be asked: What do you need it for? What works best for your brain in terms of visualization? Do you prefer to see things in one place or separated, etc.. These are all questions that I'm asking in the book I'm writing as I find that when people start using Notion they realize they've never thought much about how their brain best functions because they've always had apps that have told them what to do and how to think and for the first time they are able to have the world at their fingertips and have never really considered the best way to work or visualize what they want and how their brain works best. I hope that instead of learning the app, you take time trying to figure out how best it could help you and then apply that system to the app.
You were talking about the fact that this is a plus plan feature. In case your viewers - or you - did not know, if you are enrolled in college, you can get the plus plan for free. Sign up with your college email, or change your email to your college email, and you can enjoy all of the features, Jenna was talking about. Thanks, Jenna, for another awesome video
@@jennaredfieldI was just about to apologize and edit my post. I just logged into mobile and now the folders ARE there. So confusing bc even spotifys site says it’s only for desktop. I think that 1) it takes some time to show up on mobile and 2) they mean you cannot create folders on mobile. So sorry! I’m gonna just change my initial comment to “siiiiick!” Now. 😅. Again I blame the confusion on Spotify.
I screenshot things, but I tackle them every week during my Sunday reset. I try to scheenshot things in a mindful way, only do it with info that is relevant and important, so I end up with fewer than 30 screenshots per week. I pool them together from my phone and ipad to my desktop computer and then go through them, ruthlessly deleting ones that are easily google'able, only sounded cool, but have nothing to do with my life, things I've already shared with my friends or partner, etc. As I'm culling them, I also organise others into categories using the Apple tags feature. After that, I go through each category and find it a home. If it's temporary info I'll need next week, I attach it to the specific day on my calendar app or a specific task. If it's something that I'll need for much later, I put it into relevant pages in Notion, noting down potential uses for the info. If it's information that can be turned into a textual note, I use Notion's dictate function to note the info down, as I find that keeping full screenshots creates visual clutter. I think the most important first (and often forgotten) step is to know who you are, what your true interests are, and not to accumulate info "just because". Procrasti-gathering information never helped anybody. 😅
Wow! I just had genetic testing where I get my meds prescribed. And I have MTHFR. I’m 48 so I already have found I need to supplement with methylated B complex and multiple others as I tend to be deficient. Look forward to your video.
Hi This was great! I found this tool a while back and then came upon your video. You mentioned the guy in your group was working on something? Was it a mind-mapping tool for notion? Also just so you know you can embed these maps into notion and work on them directly inside of notion. Im trying figure out how to save them. Let me know if you have any updates on this software! Thanks!
@@jennaredfield I just tried but instead of .notion.so like what you have, it gives me a really random name that I can't change it would be great if you could show us how you change the domain name for free
