Gotta be honest. I am more interested in the making of a lure... the how's, why's, why nots, details like that. And you tend to skip over all the information of which I deem important to a build. I would much rather hear your thoughts, reasoning, and philosophy on creating the lure AS I'm seeing it, not after the fact like great-grandma's slide shows. Less than two minutes of building & painting, and almost 6 minutes of fishing. I'd rather see the build. Nice lure though!
I appreciate the feedback I’m still getting used to talking to a camera it’s a little awkward for me once I get it the grove and get used to editing and stuff I’ll start getting into better detail
@@Wyattscustombaits Fair enough. I will be patient and look forward to progress. We can't expect everyone to be Hollywood producers straight off. But if we don't say anything, you'll never know.
I’m not a big crankbait guy but looks fun to make! I’ve been tying my own crappy fly patterns and make some bomb jigs but have never made a crankbait. Might be my new winter project this year excellent work brotha!
That lure has a great action and the fish sure do seem to appreciate your work. Nicely done! If you're up for a challenge, some of my favorite lures are multi-segmented swimbaits and glidebaits. I've made several 2-piece, a few 3-piece, and a few 4-piece lures. I mostly use the double twist-eye joint with a wedge cut. I've also used the pin hinge, it's more of a challenge for me, mostly to keep clear coat our of the joint. LOL Thanks for the upload.
Not sure what type of videos you had before rebooting your channel, but this is what I search for on RU-vid and enjoy watching. Hope to see more from you like this, so I subscribed. Since the outcome of your video IS all about the camera, you really need to pay careful attention to battery and camera status at all times. Man, we missed all the critical steps of the build. Very nice job of shaping, sanding, and painting. Looks like a super nice lure.
