Also quick question will the Kool Kombi be available again next year for legends tour? I am fairly new to the hobby as of Nov of last year so legends tour is new to me. I think you mentioned these are limited edition which is great?
No each year gets one model.. the model gets sold during the legends tour and goes on and offline throught the time of the tour.. check the week of each tour date for restocks
@RicksToyRoom that's sweet so that makes it limited I like that it's exclusive. I just received my package today thank you for the helpful information.
Nice channel man. Yea my dollar trees havent gotten any of the exclusives yet which youd think they would have seeing as how the models are early releases, but i did find two of the Spring/Easter cars at a Kroger so thats pretty cool. They had their buy/spend 20 for the porche, but it was all 2023 cars and i was like...meh, im only looking for 2024 at this point. But glad to sub to ya, just created this channel and just doing simple 2024 showings
Thanks for the sub! Ya honestly i dont mind buying up the old stock on the buy $20.. though if its really bad peg warmers, ill just grab 4 five packs.. less upcs to send in as well
There is a red and gray Custom Otto that is a Kroger exclusive too, but the two Krogers by me never seem to get any of those..at least they didn't get any last year. Checked two dollar trees yesterday, nothing for their exclusives
Hey man ..just checked the hot wheels wiki...yup, the dollar tree exclusives are indeed listed on there. Yea, I'm definitely going back up today and see what's up, see if they have any
The picture of the possible store exclusives, I've seen that purple truck, but in a different color and the one below it, looks like a color swap of the mod rod. I'm going to go back today and make sure that truck was in black and not purple like the picture. Interesting..
There's a dollar tree that just opened around the corner from me last month...I did find the batmobile treasure hunt, but...one day they put up a ton of E and F cases and I was the first to hit the pegs, but oddly there was no El Camino super or the Fiat super...of all of those E and F cases, shouldnt there have been one of both? I'm wondering if someone who works there is taking them out of the boxes as there hasn't been a treasure since I found that batmobile one ..very odd
Supers and TH are not guarenteed per case i think I read somewhere its like 1:15 cases are super and 1:3 are TH.. when i was buying cases direct from EE wholesale not a single hunt or super
Could be.. would need to compare it to other same car/version.. get on google image search or ebay and try to see if others do.. its totally possible that its a tampo error.. depending on the year it might even me a “no tampo variant” ie.. so many where produced without tampo that it is a variant
If you bought only one then just keep it... If you bought two then sell one. I only bought one and I will open it and it to the new shelves I installed in my garage for my classified and turtles collection.😃👍💡
A UK supermarket has a 50% off offer atm and dpeople didn’t really know as it wasn’t advertised. It included Hot Wheels and they had a LOT of stock. I picked up some great ones including five treasure hunts. They also have Matchbox but I know very little about them. Is there a Treasure Hunt equivalent? Great video btw 👌🏻
Thanks! And yes this year (2023) matchbox has a few things similar to hot wheels TH. They have the “super chase” which have black lines on the card and are super easy to spot. If you look from the right side of the cards on pegs you will see the line and a logo on the card its obnoxious. Then there is the target red card matchboxes.. similar to the hot wheel target red editions or walmart zamac - very similar in rarity
I think for collectors that are going to spend the $20 any way, why not do it. As for what you said about flipping them, I am happy that it's a bad deal.
Ya for me i use the loose to throw in a bag for toy shows and resell 3/$1 so techincally if the 20 resell i make $6/7 but even then there is no real profile as a reseller.. if you have kids or like loose ya its not a terrible Deal your getting 21 cars for your $30 - its all about how you collect on this deal.. but as resell/flipping/profiteering.. its a bad deal
Getting into Hot Wheels since I've found my childhood collection, but I must say as a Funko Pop collector your collection behind your right shoulder is bonkers. Love the lighted display
Its when you go through all the cars on a peg(s) looking for cars.. like dump bin hunting is digging through a bin at walmart or target to find something same concept different location for the cars
Thank you for making this vid. This was very informative, but one area I was hoping to see covered was how to protect and store the unopened Hot Wheels. What do you suggest?
A few things.. protecto paks plenty of variations.. any really will do.. also the blisters on the cars are susceptible to changes in temp and humidity.. keep them where the temps stay consistent
