Hello and Welcome to My Channel for Just Great Music, encompassing "One Hit Wonders" various "Oddities" and hard to find Songs as well as the Hits from the late 1950's up until very early 2000's .. I have been searching for and collecting Music video's for over 30 years and love finding rare and obscure titles . One thing you won't find on my Video's (unless they've been put there by other parties) Are large and Annoying Watermarks proclaiming that the Various Channel presenters would have you believe that they own the Video's , they don't and neither do I and I'm Not going to Deface a Good Video with a Watermark ! Please if you like what you are seeing Like and subscribe
Thought of this video as soon as I heard of his passing. Also sad reminder of Dallas Good’s passing seeing his brother Travis playing with Blue Rodeo in this clip.
Stevie at the absolute top of his game vocally. Love how he and the band tap into the energy of this piece as more mature musicians: gets the ending it deserves.
the instrument played by peter hope-evans is called a mouth bow , i believe three different mouth bows were played in this recording , sound layered over each other
What a FANTASTIC voice she has. It will NEVER be lost, thanks to her recordings & the internet. I will forever play her songs in my house. She would have gone on to do greater things with that voice. SO sad she has gone to heaven, now she can sing with the angels. 💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞
This music video is like rare archival footage of a once familiar Australia that is sadly no more! The streets, the faces, the buildings, the interactions. So much nostalgia packed into 4 minutes! 👍
Great quality videos - keep them coming - I saw The Avengers "out of sight out of mind" back in the sixties, maybe on Studio One - would love to see it again if you have a copy? Its my favourite song of theirs. Also do you have a decent copy of Allison Durbin "I have loved me a man"? /thanks
@raystory Check out this www.nzonscreen.com/explore/music-video NZ never placed much importance on saving their old music history particularly on film. Everything seems to have been run on the smell of an oily rag (no money underfunded not interested) Out of sight out of mind , is exactly that , I cannot find it anywhere, on the NZ on screen site there is a poor copy of I have loved me a Man. look at Aussie sites for Alison Durbin , but they dont have much either. Let me know how you get on. Cheers
thanks for that, yes a lot of old kiwi classics no longer around - also looking for maria dallas "music turns me on" but no luck - yes i have already downloaded a copy of Allison off an aussie one, just trying to get a better copy. You say in your blurb you are looking for rare/obscure songs - i have over 1600 videos from the 50s/60s/70s - many of which no longer on youtube - are you looking for any ones in particular? / cheers
Yes, I grew up listening to these Bands and loving their music , Sad now so many of them gone , take comfort that these Video's and their music are still here to watch and enjoy and will outlive us all.❤
@@Kiwigold-on7mc Twiggy is my favourite female singer of all time. If you have more songs by Twiggy, upload them all to your RU-vid channel, including never released songs by Twiggy.
Just from a listening point of view I think her voice is a great counterpoint to his gentler delivery , she has a wonderful clear voice and I'm sure they would not have agreed to sing together if either had thought their voices were a poor match .
