Well, good evening! I’m LaShonda, and if you enjoy boating, RVing, paddleboarding, and fishing, you're in the right place. We recently bought a 2023 Jeanneau NC 795 S2 and named it Manifest. Join us as we grow and learn as captains. When we're not on the boat, we seek out fun RV campgrounds by the water.
I am grateful for everyone who enjoys the content on the My SUP Runneth Over Channel These adventures truly restore my soul! A special thanks to those who like, comment, share, and subscribe.
A little about me: I'm married to @JonLMcNair, and we have two boys, JD and Daniel, as well as our rescue pup Sonny. Birmingham, AL is home base, but we're die-hard FSU fans - Go Noles! 💛❤️ I find peace in, on, or near water and consider myself an outdoorsy woman, as long as there's a toilet nearby, a campfire isn't my only heat source, and my survival doesn't hinge on catching fish to eat.

i live on the Choctawhatchee Bay and its really cool to see other people talk familiar places like crab island and Baytown marina witch ive been to multiple times. hope you have many more adventures and good times
@@Whirlpool999 It is a beautiful area down there. We want to explore more of it but want to find either a closer place to stay on the water to the Destin area or a closer boat launch. Any suggestions? Again, thanks for watching! 🙏🏾
Deerlick Creek Campground along the Black Warrior River is a great one. It’s about an hour and 15 mins away from Birmingham. Clear Creek Campground is another one we recently found in Jasper along Smith Lake about an hour away. Videos of how we spent our time at each are posted on the channel. Happy Camping.
Liked how y'all hit dat boatshow 😎 I had to check out this video to see when the dream boat started started to become a reality. Great video, as always. Safe and happy camping 🙏🏾👍🏾❤️
For a starry night sky, soothing birdsong, wooded serenity, industrious 'woodpeckering', and no-fish-catching couples hangouts, Clear Creek can't be beat. Thank you for this calm, relaxing, vicarious escape. Continued safe travels,🙏🏾❤️👍🏾
@@dianaaltunbas7574 Would love to do that but no not yet. Traveling from AL to any big/open body of water is half the battle for us. Thanks for stopping by the channel.
@@MySUPRunnethOver looking forward buying this boat. We live in Florida, would like to have something that will take us to Bahamas. Would you recommend the boat? Any tips you can give? Thank you.
We have not tried any long crossing so I really can’t say. We’d definitely like to try it one day but I think the first thing we’d try would be taking it to the Keys or up the Tennessee River to Chattanooga. I think additional gas reserve would be a good to have for a long crossing. Happy boat hunting!
Enjoyed your video. Can I offer a couple suggestions? Some new people to your channel (me) may not know anything about the boat. I’d suggest in every video mention at the beginning the model of boat and length. In today’s video you could have talked about how much fuel you started with and so on. Also mention how far you went and how much gas you burned. I’m more apt to watch a particular model boat put thru its paces than just a family on a cruise. Anyway, enjoy your boating and look forward to your next adventure.
@@bill29456 Thanks for your suggestion. I will definitely start adding it in the description of the videos. I’ll be honest, I have no desire to attempt to sale anyone on this boat in the videos I post. I do lean more towards sharing our experiences and how we use the boat, or any of our other recreational vehicles, on our outings. That style of content may not be for everyone but if you get some enjoyment out of it, I appreciate that. We are still learning a lot about boat life so I would dare say we are savvy enough to compete with a Nauti Styles type channel 😊 in giving viewers the ins and outs of our boat but we love their content for how technical it gets when we’re wanting that style of content. Really appreciate you watching and sharing your thoughts.
@@MySUPRunnethOver Your very welcome. When i was your age, chuckle , i had a Silverline 22' Nantucket. Very similar to your boat. I loved it and used it lots,, many adventures. Happy days for you guys for sure.
I looked that make and model up. Very nice vessel. We’re looking forward to many more trips once our tow vehicle is out the shop. Appreciate the kind words. 🙏🏾
Constructive knowledge shared is productive for everyone: your perspectives of the RVs were helpful, and your sharing of the knowledge gained from Born Again Boating is multiplicative. I also loved seeing Alabama folks meeting up - shout out to Eric and Rose. Thank you for an entertaining and informative video. Safe and happy travels to you.🙏🏾👍🏾❤️
@@thomasfelts6745 Thanks. He’s a good boy! 😊 The dolphins were definitely a highlight. We love it down that way especially with our Gheenoe. For Manifest, we want to find a better place to put in to get us closer to Crab Island. We’re thinking Big Lagoon State Park may be better. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for watching. 🙏🏾🙏🏾☺️
Thank God for divine protection from danger seen and unseen glad everyone made it safe The way you handled this with grace taught ga future owner ive learn so much from watching your uploads and also im a new sub
So glad yall enjoyed it. There are some beautiful places in AL. I know some prefer the RV Campground Tour/Review approach but I prefer to share our experiences and how we chose to use the park. Thanks for the kind words and I appreciate you watching! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
We were there in 2019. I grew up in Sylacauga,Al but live in Illinois now. My wife is from Illinois and had never seen a poisonous snake outside of the St. Louis zoo. The second morning there we left our sight and there was a huge cottonmouth crossing the road and she freaked out pretty bad. Beautiful place though.
I can imagine that being quite the experience for her 😏. I am not big on snakes either but I like being outdoors so I have fortunately learned to take the good with the bad. ☺️
The combo washer/dryer are okay for a couple pair of jeans and a couple shirts. The washer cycle is not bad but the dryer takes forever. My wife says they pretty much won’t dry big heavy towels. We had the combo in our jayco pinnacle but are going to the stackable in our north point.
New to the channel subscribing because I’m wanting to learn more about towing and maintaining a trailer so I can live in permanently and travel… I ve learned so much from you guys very informative… Congratulations 🎊🎈🍾🎉
I enjoyed watching your content. My wife and I love camping and fishing. I recommend looking into Twin Lakes Camp Resort. We were able to enjoy both of our hobbies at their location (pan handle) . #TightLines 🎣 and s’mores 🍫
