How can you do upsell or cross-sell if the brand sells a lot of different products? Wouldn't it take ages to create a unique upsell or cross-sell for every single one of those products?

This is a great video mate, been looking all over for this. one thing to menchion that when doing the inactive section your tag wont appear until 1 person starts the flow. So you need to add an email to the flow first for it to appear.

Terrific session Adam and Wiehan. So much insights about eCommerce that we could glean. Loved the part especially where Wiehan speaks about eCommerce is a place where you'll never run out of ideas. Would love for you to create an in depth video about SMS strategy in general. Do’s and don’ts, how to have it complement your emails without annoying your subs, etc. basically a mini crash course for beginners that aren’t familiar with SMS. Thanks!
Thanks for this informative tutorial, Adam! Just a tip, since this is a winback campaign, there are chances that some leads have changed email or have gone dormant, especially if they are business emails. Feel free to use a data appending tool to get the most updated contacts of past leads.
Nice video Adam:) Quick question... let's say they convert on email 2, that means they haven't gone through the whole flow so their tag hasn't updated and therefore stuck with the 'active' tag. What do you do about this?
Hey Zac, we have the 'Timer-Based Tag Removal Flows and Segments for this' , which is based on x amount of time/days/date when a tag is applied and should be removed (regardless of whether they remain in or out of the flow).
@@MagnetMonster Thanks for the reply, I will look into this. Didn’t think there was a way round it, so I took all the tags out of my flows, but would be good to do this to exclude these people from campaigns :)
Congratulations on reaching the Master Elite Status! And thanks for a thoughtful speech. Just wondering: you mentioned that the Klaviyo ecosystem is saturated and it's not the best technology to get started in the agency space. If you were starting an email agency today, which platform would you have chosen instead?
That's a great question, and it's honestly difficult for me to say given our natural bias towards Klaviyo and the roots we've built within the platform. However, as they IPO, expect more challengers to appear with newer tech and more nimble approaches. The ones that stand out at the moment are SendLane who seems to be gaining traction quickly and OmniSend who have been around for quite a while but quite well established and well poised to take more business from Klaviyo as they raise their prices in the future. But for now, Klaviyo is dominating still.
@@MagnetMonster thanks a lot! I have an email agency in Russia, however I have moved to Israel at the start of the war and am now planning to set up an email agency here too. So that's valuable advice! In Russia we were using mostly Mindbox and Unisender, not too well known in the international markets.
There are tons of opportunities out there on other platforms in territories beyond the UK & US, and you may be able to build a much more profitable business operating there, so go for it.
Such a good video and you've touched on many critical factors that needs to be taken into account if you truly want to scale your email/SMS channels efficiently.
Great video pal. I've successfully set up my birthday flow. But when trying to set up the anniversary flow there's no option within the triggers to select the anniversary data that I've already imported. Do you know a work around for this? Thanks in advance!
Are you trying to use the customers purchase date as the anniversary trigger? If so, you can tag them or use a timestamp after the initial purchase and then set up a flow that fires off this property.
One list and creative tagging make good sense. Do you have any thoughts on how to deliver multiple lead magnets with Klaviyo? Multiple landing pages that subscribe users to the same list mean adding a lot of logic to the welcome flow to determine which LM to send. It also means the person can only ever subscribe once for one LM. I keep seeing suggestions to have a separate list (and welcome flow) per LM, but that seems messy.
I eventually used segment triggered flows. The single welcome flow skips the generic welcome email if the lead magnet flag in the subscribe form is set. Klaviyo recently decreased the time it takes to fire segment triggered flows but I haven't verified that. Thanks fo your help.
Hi Adam, with the custom properties, say for example someone converts on email 3 and gets taken out of the flow, will they be stuck with the win back flow as active and forever be kept out of campaigns? Can’t find a solution to this anywhere!

I was looking for this, but my idea was something like : Building an audience of IOS users that actually order something, in order to create a facebook lookalike audience, to help facebook pixel to deliver my ads to ios users that actually : checkout, addtocart, purchase. I dont' know if it will work, but as Facebook pixel is almost blind regarding the behaviour of ios users on any website (even with the aggregated event), I thought it could be something like an idea.
