work & life in late 20s, personal growth, posting whatever I feel is top of mind at the time ☺︎ 初めまして、櫻です!アメリカかの帰国子女です。東京で夫と二人暮らしで、現在アメリカのテック企業で働いています。vlogやお仕事の話とライフスタイルのビデオが多いです。是非チャンネル登録お願いします🤍
Wow, this is the first video of yours I’ve found. I love in Tokyo now and am looking to transition into L&D in the next two months. Thanks for the content!
What would a company look for if they were interested in hiring someone who doesn't have a visa yet? I'm currently looking to move abroad and it's very hard to find listing that give you an idea whether the company will sponsor you. I work in marketing but in a quite specific field so I'm confident my skills would be worth the extra mile 😊
Im going through this now. Im been giving it my all for 24 years, Im exhausted and it all seems pointless now. Plus all my colleagues have quiet quit. I look around and have to ask why am I the only one working hard? For what?
Thank you for reviewing Vivaia, I have ordered the same as in the video. My first time with this brand, very excited hahaha. Greetings from Belgium, Europe 😃👍
Thank you for sharing your experiences. A quick question: Do L&D professionals deliver the lectures themselves or the coordinate and seek out a facilitator to deliver the lectures?
Yes, this was beneficial information! I’m starting in the position you were in with all the exact experience- except I’m in the tech industry. I’m looking to build relevant hardcore L&D experiences now.
I have a bachelor's in design and a master's in Strategic design management (Not an MBA) I work as a UX researcher at a tech company and realised lately that this field is just not for me. I love a role where I have more human connection/communication; I genuinely only feel a sense of accomplishment when I get to help/guide others to become better. My current role does not fulfil me. Can someone from design shift to an L & D role? I'm quite lost so if you have any tips it would mean sooo much!🥺 Glad I came across this video! Thank you for sharing
This video was so effective, congratulations! It's rare to find a RU-vid channel that gets straight to the point, and doesn't treat the audience like robots. Or see the audience only as possible customers. congratulations!
Really random Sakura...you weren't by any chance with Coinbase were you? I'm interviewing with their L&D team next week and was curious to look at the job specs and kinda stumbled across your videos. Then I also realised Coinbase closed off the Japan operations and was thinking wait, is this where Sakura was? Would love your help if you can provide me any insights into the job!
Ask them if they’d be comfortable letting you have a 1-on-1 with one of the employees who would be one of your direct peers or team members. If the answer is no, red flag.
Thank you so much for the video I will be following these steps but my only concern is that I have no work experience besides inservice training. 🤦🏽♀️ I’ve been job hunting since 2020 till date, no call back, no interview invitation even for internships… Hopefully your tips will make a difference on my profile. Once again thank you 🙏🏽
Thank you so much!! This video is really helpful. Would love if you could make a video about how to network or how to text strangers on LinkedIn especially recruiters.
Simple and easy to follow. Thank you! I used to get a ton of hits but it has slowed down a little due to increased competition. I’ll def be updating my LI this week.
I would love to check you LikedIn profile, however it is not possible to find a relevant link in your channel. That is contradicting with the content of this video.
Presenting as an expert or putting a presentation together to tell people how to do things is not training. However, this is what most employers would consider training.
Thanks for the video! My profile contains most of the aspects you suggested already. I get really frustrated when recruiters approach me about positions that obviously don’t fit within my field or qualifications, which has been happening a lot lately. ☹️
