You should really rewind a few seconds after you pause, cause you sometimes stop in the middle of a line, and when you start again you may miss the context of a bar.
@@dirtyneedlz3551 FL Studio…. But I’ve worked with most of the others too. FL started off as a very basic DAW… now it’s superb and my first choice every time. I mix and master in Audition
Should we be worried about you Seek? Punching an orphan? Burning the world down with a plane? 😂 Good shout though, this is the track that got me in to NF...absolute legend. If you've not checked out If You Want Love yet, seriously needs to go on your list. It's a totally different vibe to this, but such a good song. One of those that can get me quite emotional if it hits at the right time...remember watching the video when my little boy was born and damn that hit hard! Also...choral stabs? 👊😉
hahaha i promise not to punch orphans, but the old people may be done for lol. Im gonna take a deep dive into all NF's stuff....I like his stuff a lot.
Ren's hardly just "bedroom music"! He's a once in a generation talent! Every label under the Sun has tried to sign Ren. He's turned them all down! With Ren it really is all about the music! :) He was signed by Sony, at the age of 19, after he was seen singing and playing guitar, with his own material, just busking on the streets. Unfortunately, only a couple of months in to recording an album, he became too ill to continue and the contract was allowed to lapse. He was then bedridden, in chronic 24hr pain, unable to sleep, for the best part of 7 years! He remains seriously ill and in constant pain but his health has improved enough to actually have a life. Despite being fully independent, by choice, no label, no financial backing, no PR machine, no management company... despite his horrendous health problems, despite being unable to tour or to properly promote his work and despite being out of the country at the time, in the middle of 18 months of intensive, experimental treatment, in Canada... Despite all that, Ren made history last year! He became the first fully independent artist to have a number 1 UK album! Knocking Drake off the top spot in the process! It also went top 10 in several other countries, topped the US hip-hop album chart and went to number 1 on the iTunes worldwide chart! :) Ren writes and performs in EVERY genre and he never misses, no matter the style or genre! He has incredible vocals, capable of multiple voices, styles and tones. An incredible and beautiful voice, always dripping with emotion! He raps like a rap god, scats and beatboxes brilliantly! He's an exceptional sound/recording engineer and a top-notch producer, who lays down all of his own music/beats/audio! He plays about a dozen musical instruments well. Half of them RIDICULOUSLY well! All self-taught! He directs and edits most of his own videos and many are recorded live, in a single take! Something he's become renowned for, winning numerous major international video awards! His performance skills are first-class and his stage presence is palpable. His songwriting skills are world-class! Especially his lyricism. He's a poet really and a bloody great poet at that! He just creates masterpiece after masterpiece! If he was signed to major label, he'd be dominating the charts worldwide but I hope he never does sign to a label. His independence is a key component in his greatness. He does exactly what he wants, what he thinks is good, what he enjoys creating and doesn't worry about whether or not it's a hit. Ren's a unique artist. A musical genius! A once in a generation talent! A great human being too! :) tl/dr - Ren's great! Ren's music is great! Definitely react to more Ren! You won't be disappointed. You WILL be surprised... constantly! :)
You didn't play it to the end! Let me warn you 😁 it's "okay" on this one, but if you stop before the end on other NF songs, you miss crucial information about the song's concept.
Sory to nitpick but it's really Eric B & Rakim and that order ;) Eric was/is the beat maker who created this style of beat making to be honest. I now that you know this but just that youngters know how it went down. But enyways, this is a dope video and you know your thang. Big up!
Yeah I know this but its a fair point you make. The title means the type of beat Rakim would use. Yeah big up Eric B though, dudes a legend and to be fair it is his sound. Thank you for watching my friend.
Bottom (fire farts). The Goodies !!! Kitten Kong (Twinkle The Giant Kitten kills Michael Aspel), Lighthouse Keeping Loonies (sending a lighthouse into space), Bunfight at the Okay Tearoom (parody of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly), Saturday Night Grease (Tim can only speak in a deep male voice to chat up women when his flies are undone).
Probably the all time best for visual comedy that influenced those that came later. For example, David Jason (Delboy) In Only Fools And Horses falling through a bar, was done 20 years earlier by Graeme Garden.
Using the mirror during practice is next level...these days it's standard (and easy and super cheap) to film everything from multiple angles. He really was ahead of his time. Did he ever hook up with Abilities? That would've been rad!!
It still rattles me how few people know this exists. “Can I bring the tiger?” No you leave him in the van, he’s more trouble than he’s worth” Every line is gold
