I never been there. Might have to make a pilgrimage. My favorite is Milroy Street. Might not be as steep but has like 5 successive 90 degree or sharper turns in a matter of 20 seconds. I love drving in this city and the hills around it. Always thought it would make for some crazy rally races lol
I grew up in the South Hills in Castle Shannon. There were some steep hills around there. 6th Street, Grove Road and Havelock Street all lead to Route 88. I think Havelock Street is the steepest of these. It’s across 88 from the Ford dealer. Another one that’s pretty steep is Martha Street between Belleville Street and May Street but it’s not very long. I had an 84 Monte Carlo with a V6 and decided I had to get rid of it when it couldn’t go up Havelock Street. Had my foot to the floor and it just stopped and started rolling backward.
Thank you for posting this video. We also ordered guinea keets from Hoovers and they shipped on Monday. They were shipped out not even 6 hours away from where we live, but somehow we are still waiting for them as of Wednesday afternoon. I've been panicking. If I'd known they were that close, I would have just driven there and picked them up myself. I'm glad most of yours were alive and well.
They were all very, very dead on arrival. We didn't get them until the following Monday. The post office called us and said it was very obvious that they were not alive because of the stench. When my husband showed up, they offered to dispose of the box, but we buried them. The USPS had apparently moved their distribution facility for the state of Georgia and all communication pretty much went out the window. A lot of people's birds across the state of Georgia (according to the hatchery) were dead on arrival due to being severely delayed. I will never order via mail again. We ordered 20 guinea keets and the hatchery had sent us a total of 32. USPS tried various times to place blame on the hatchery and the hatchery blamed USPS. It's like pulling teeth to get honest answers, and USPS never offered any solution as to how this could be prevented in the future. The incompetence at all levels is very alarming. I also heard something similar had been occurring in Alabama.
I grew up on Northeast 94th Street in Seattle -- specifically the stretch between 15th and 17th Avenues.; our home was halfway up it. I am sure that street -- at least the lower part -- is as steep as what is shown here. Someone from elsewhere came and was driving on it, and I remember him saying to me, "That's not a street! That's a cliff with a road on it!" I also remember a lady who drove down halfway and who refused to go any farther. Actually, there is also a half-street two blocks over -- Northeast 96th -- that is even steeper, but they blocked it off so that cars cannot drive all the way between 15th and 17th.
No offense but where I live we have one that puts that to shame… I’ll have to make a video or take some pictures and send it to you .. just not sure how. Lol Or I can send you the street so you can Google it
@@Starkey_inc it’s in globe az and it’s (N 4th street) it starts at Bailey to E apache st .. so when you first go to get up it your bumper will scrape in certain vehicles like cars. That’s how steep the departure angle is…
If it is dark out go to "night sight" mode. ( Far left option). Set the phone down. It can't be hand held.. after a few seconds the shutter button logo will change to astrophotography mode. Torch it without moving the phone. It will take a few minutes to take you pictures. A few minutes later it will also prove you with a picture
