Thank you so much. So glad I found you. There are a lot of people doing this kind of thing out there on-line but not many are able to explain and simplify as you do. I love your teaching style and how you actually show what you are doing and how to achieve this. So annoyed that it's taken me a lifetime to or what seems like a lifetime to find your channel. Can't wait for the next video.
When you play the piano, you pour out emotion so well. Its palpable that you love the instrument so much :) You gonna blow up RU-vid soon, save my comment <3
Like & Subsribed - I am now one of your follows. I love what you do. This is not jus a hobbie for me I have poor mental health. Sight reading whilst playing the 88 keys piano helps me more than anything. There is no drug that could help me this much I would subsribe to your course and recomend you to my friends and family.
When I am composing a song I usualy beging with the cord structruer the and the back line mix which is the bass guitar and drums. I will record the bass guitar and drums first then progress by layering the guitar and pino over that. The last thing I do is record the vocal parts. I don't use AI or Digital Audio Work station. I play all of the instruments myself.
Ahh! I understand this because I can see the music on stave. I can see where middle (C) or C4 is. The key is (Fminor) the 3rd note of the scale is (A flat) - everybody should tell me that so I know what is happening. I can see from the key signature the relative major is (A flat) - there may be a key change at some point.
Hello gorgeous piano teacher, I thoroughly enjoyed this tutorial. My question to you: What is the missing ingredient to be able to add the melody to any song? I just can't hack that part.
One of my fav parts playing keyboard is finding the melodies by ear, but I am still strugling with the measure, keeping up with he tempo, even sometimes going blind how many beats the lyrics are , how long should I rest before the next part, including the chord changes, hopefully you'll cover that in another video 😅
Hey! When you wanna learn by ear you really need to know the song well so you know how the rhythm goes! You should try a mix of lead sheet and by ear. This way you have a guideline for the tempo and you can have fun with the melody!
Hi Marine, i don’t even have a organ, but couldn’t help but watch :-) think its the red hair !! Anyways great video. Still waiting on piano man :-) hahaha
Wow! That was a fantastic insight into the Hammond organ. It really shows how much goes into playing these fantastic instruments. You have to “drive” them as well as play them. Huge respect to the virtuosos out there. Thanks Marine.
Hi Marine, love this lesson! I'm thinking Hammond Organ with a good drawbar setting could replace the synth solo in Van Halen's 'Jump', switching that Leslie on/off slow & fast could embellish the sound. Would you consider teaching the synth part ? Love you're guided practice song lessons.
I grew up learning "arranger keyboard" music, only playing the chord with the left hand. Now I want to learn piano music and I find it hard to get my head round. In Step 4, things became clear. Especially the part about keeping the melody note as the top note and playing the chord below it.
tbh for my level now being able to master just these patterns feels like I'd be happy for the rest of my entire life XD (even minus the mixing parts, I'll leave it for later)
