I have it it R/G Omnath. I played parallel lives, With Omnath on the field, then played Awaken the woods for 5. P.L. Doubles the land tokens to 10, then Omnath trigger doubles with P.L. to 20 5/5 Elementals. :)
So excited to finally see someone make a video for Miriam! She has been very near and dear to me since I first saw her. Building and fine tuning her deck has been a struggle, so I would love to see more of your ideas to improve her!
I think leaning into tokens and anthems would really solve your crewing problem. Anything that buffs power, which green and white have plenty of, will make a couple tokens into great pilots. Green and white are the token colors so i feel like it could be an effective alternate wincon, and if your vehicles get buffed too, what's the harm I know you're working with whatever you have, but maybe you got a few pieces, what you pulled together so far seems pretty sweet already
Hey Space Coconut! I'm most curious to know why the absence of mounts? They have the benefit of getting buffs from Miriam while also filling in as creatures that can crew vehicles. Also it's funny to see mounts driving vehicles. 😂
I built this with cards in my collection and I don’t have any lol In the “Considering” section of the deck tech I have cards I want to add to the deck, including mounts ;-)
I see the going back to the deck as a good thing since its a way to reset himself and being able to reuse his skills again. Also is a great representation of what he does in the books as The Grey, suddenly dissapearing and coming back later when he's needed.
I am very new to mtg and just bought this for my first commander deck and am hearing its not that good haha, any recommendations for upgrading that don't require a different commander?
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vqI6jVCv-bs.htmlsi=KDq0ptBXY_zrEEac This is a good start to also understand what the deck wants to do. Brimaz is kind of all over the place.
Yes, because Grist can be your commander. That line of text says that as long as Grist is not on the battlefield it is a creature, not matter where it is. This is the same combo that Agatha's Cauldron does, but to creatures with +1/+1 counters on them.
You need the planechase for this deck. Its an equalizer, lets it catch up to a ramp if someone played one, pushes token decks, makes having only two bombs in form of big creatures on the board insanely powerful and generally makes sure that opponents can't just continuously boardwipe this token deck. Ignoring planechase fails this deck's premise IMHO. In other words: If your group is like "Planechase stinky!", like in this video, you shouldn't bother bringing this deck, so better ask beforehand if they are cool with planechasing.
I love the phyrexians, glissa is my 2nd favorite phyrexian commander, with number one being vishgraz the doomhive, i love my little swarm of venomous mites, white, green, black, and 2 mana, comes in with 3 phyrexian mites with toxic, I run a fun bounce build with him, and got like 4 different ways to win with him, with 6 different ways to set it up
Yes you can the hybrid mana symbol for extort is a reminder text. So it is outside the color rulings. Just saw this in another comment. Good looking out though.
Saruman can still put counters on an army with shroud from Whispersilk Cloak. Shroud prevents the permanent from being targeted but Amass doesn’t target, it chooses! Just something to know
Im trying to work out how you get 31 mana on the next turn... could you please help me out by explaining 🙏? Thanks for the video - Tyvar is a badass mofo!
Mana ability resolves, put 1/1 counter on it for each mana it produced. Gyre sage on your turn has 1 counter on it. Tap for 1 mana, tyvar puts 1 counter on it 2 counters total. Untaps on opponent's turn, taps for 2 mana, puts 2 counters on it. 4 counters total Untaps, taps for 4 mana, put 4 counters on it. 8 counters total Untaps, taps for 8 mana, put 8 counters on it, 16 counters total. Your turn, can tap for 16 mana. Kami of whispered hopes taps for 1 mana, tyvar puts a counter on it, kami adds a counter for a total of 2 counters. Untaps, taps for 3 mana, tyvar puts 3 counters, kami adds one for 4 counters making 6 counters total. Untaps, taps for 7 mana, tyvar puts 7 counters, kami adds one for 8 counters making 14 total untaps taps for 15 mana, tyvar puts 15 counters, kami adds one for 16 counters making 31 total Your turn, can tap for 32 mana.
These aren't full decks, but simply the core of a deck. For this one I'd say 34-36 lands would be ok depending on your ramp package. Use whatever land you have available.
I got a Brudiclad for this deck to haste all my tokens and make more tokens. I can also transform all my 1/1 myrs into 2/1 phyrexian myrs. Pretty cool.
I love you! Yes i agree. Mishra on his own is just a boring "go wide" commander. No way anyone in their rihgt ming would wanna run him like that! Show me the deck baby!!! And keeping it budget as well kudos. It's incredible how many youtubers just DON'T bother building this card for the melded side. Like arguiably this one is the easiest to pull off for crying out loud
if it have trample and deathtouch: 3/3 with trample and deathtouch is blocled by a 10 toughness creature. you must assign damahe on the blockers until its letal, then you may assign the excess on thr next blocker is possible, if not possible, you may assign the excess on the defending player/planeswalker/battle that is being attacked, assign excess damage to non-blockers only if the attacker have trample and only if all blockers were assigned lethal damage. so your 3 power can assing 1 damage to the blocker and it will count as lethal (deathtouch), then you may assign the excesss (trample) to the player/planeswalker/battle that your creature is attacking. even if the blocker is indestructible, indestructible means it will not be destroyed when applied lethal conditions, so you can still assign 1 deathtouch damage as lethal during the damage step, even if the blocker is indestructible
