Nice work 👍, you help me a lot sir, I really appreciate it sir. 1. Please sir, how can we get this type of tool because the other crimping tool I used to seen it has green colour it did not be like this? 2. What it is the name of the plug you used? I never seen this type of plugs before. Please help me sir.
great video, I wish you would have posted more about the length, like maybe some examples of the tool being using in an area of a finished ceiling as aposed to drop ceiling.
Edit: i know this video is 11 years old but I'm hopeful anyone will see this and give an answer If I have a camera with a male connector, and my dvr is also a male connector, would this kind of coupler be okay to use? Or in this scenario there's a reason for the original incompatibility beyond not being able to find a female to female cable?
Hi. I am watching this after 11 years. Liked the video. It still shows 0 likes. Idk why. Good video. Thanks. Love from the other side of the world coz You were on RU-vid even when RU-vid wasn't a thing.
It's just a preference. It's really not necessary to completely untwist the pairs. The twist keeps the wires from moving about as you continue to seat the remaining wires and in preparation for the punch down.
I had to punch down like 8 keystones the other day. First time I have done it and they all worked first try, but I did wonder how people did this with any sort of regularity and still had skin on their hands. I didn't cut myself or anything, but it sure felt like I was trying to push the jack through my hand. Gonna have to get one of those pucks.
Very helpful video. I couldn’t figure out why my brand new cleaver wasn’t cutting. Didn’t realize there was a layer still to take off. Brand new to fiber work 😅
