Regarded as an artist of expressive refinement, luminous pulsation and great personality, Judith Jáuregui has become one of today’s most captivating Spanish pianists. British magazine International Piano has recently described her as ‘creative intuition’, ‘an imaginative artist, a strikingly individual performer who has impressed European audiences with her maturity of expression’.
In recent years she has been enthusiastically received on leading stages, including the Auditorio Nacional in Madrid, the Palau de la Música in Barcelona, the Southbank Centre in London, Auditorium du Louvre in Paris, Konzerthaus Berlin, Suntory Hall Tokyo, NCPA Beijing, Teatro Mayor in Bogotá, Festival International de Piano de La Roque d’Anthéron, Lille Piano Festival, Festival Radio France in Montpellier, Schloss Elmau, Murten Classics or Klosters Music.
Love Judith's version. So much passion and feeling, and the clarity rings through! This is one of my favorite versions of "La Ballade". Don't know how I missed this in the past, but it just showed up in my feed and bam. Would love to hear more from her on Chopin, other than the few I can find.
A very beautiful performance of this beloved Brahms masterpiece. 😎🎹 *May I also add that the recording is excellent and sounds great with headphones. 🎧*
