Wild by the Mile puts you in the passenger seat of #VanLife. Watch as Wild Child Liz Bryant takes you across the United States in her Mercedes Sprinter. She lives full-time in her van.
Of all the campervans I've seen, yours is the only one that suits my heart the best, starting from the layout of the room, it's very practical, but why don't you just use the cupboard as a toilet? Because for me, the main thing about a campervan is just the bed and toilet, not so much the kitchen. It's important that cooking can be done outside the car, it's more fun and safer🤔
This video relieved so much pressure I felt to leave my van - somewhere?! - off playa. Traveling from the east coast having my van will be a game changer, but all of my friends urged me to somehow transport all of my stuff to a trailer and find someone with a hitch?! or some other similar move. I have an all black, pristine van too… but I got it for events and festivals… Thanks for the reassurance at the least. Great vid :)
I love this conversation so much. It’s hard to get my mom to understand my path for wanting to start vanlife. There are past reasons why, like my best friend passing away unexpectedly during her vanlife journey, but I just want her to understand that is a huge part of my reason why.. and that not everything that is different than the norm is scarier than most peoples average life. She looks at all the bad and forgets to see the good and I can’t wait til the day she understands and can see what it’s all about.
2/21/2023 Maybe you could get free Dropps by showing how you use them on your 'Wild by the Mile' and showing them on your shelf, close up, easy to read, for about fifteen seconds while you talk about something else, every show. You will probably like Dropps laundry detergent pods! They are plant based, arrive in the mail once a week or once a month or once a year. You choose out of about three real scents (lavender, rosemarie, lemon) or choice of no scent (good if you have a pet bird as they can die from too much perfume). Lemon is really strong and best for football uniforms, probably not the best choice with pets in a van. This arrives in a really small, light weight, super clean cardboard box, which you can compost later. Dropps also sells dishwasher pods that work great! Be careful to have dry hands when you reach in the box or they will stick together. Be careful to leave in secure drawer that won't get wet inside. Be careful to keep it out of reach of pets, toddlers, teenagers desperate to impress their peers with a new daily challenge to get 'popular instantly' by swallowing a laundry pod. This has sent many teens to the ICU with long term stomach damage. What does the poison control center say if they can't get to an ICU immediately? Probably drink a lot of water or drink a lot of milk too, I really don't know. Parents should probably know this as the teen (life time) peer pressure is intense out there to 'swallow everything and anything' at weekend beer parties, etc. McDougall's super light weight ramen with miso in a cup (can put it all in your favorite soup bowl with extra boiled water, add your favorite veg, like spring onion) is great one hour before sleep, empty bladder, fall into super deep sleep with REM to wake up feeling 'wow that was a super deep sleep!!!' McDougall's soup also helps stop all food cravings until at least breakfast time. This is helpful for people born with intense cravings to snack, snack, snack. See him interviewed on his life story at 'Chef AJ.' She interviews a new chef (or doctor) almost every day!
Sorry call them what you like but these are not Vans they are mini RVs…. This is luxury compared to Van lifers who really live in VANS … frankly I don’t consider those who live in these vehicles “Van Lifers”…You are Mine RV lifers
Just discovered you but your channel’s name is familiar. Maybe you’ve been featured on other channels. One comment: I’m surprised you don’t have holes drilled thru the base of your bed to prevent condensation causing mildew growth beneath mattress. It happens.😎PS Just read some of the comments below. I think I saw you featured on another channel but can’t recall its name. You look just like the reporter I saw on that channel.😊
Please don't jump on the back of the cart. It will eventually body slam you. If it were a larger cart. But definitely not the small ones.. Great video!
*Newly Updated Safety Suggestions; I just happened to see your channel, and others similar channels recently, and I think that you, and others sharing their actual reality, and some have expressed some of the up, and down sides to van, RV, or vehicle living. Although, I just noticed your RU-vid channel, and other similar channels, displaying van living. I just wanted to remind everyone to Aware Be of your surroundings and Alert, I just posted this anyway to help anyone who may benefit from these suggestions I believe that it is very helpful, and beneficial to others who may be thinking about this type of living without actually thinking through, about the some of the realistic problems that could occur with vehicle or van living etc... People need to know what up sides there are, as well as some of the down sides of vehicle living. I believe this channel, and other channels have been informative to others, including myself. Although, I am NOT living in a vehicle or anything like this. I feel that you , and others RU-vidrs sharing this with your viewers will be very helpful. I wish you ALL the Best with your traveling endeavors. I shared this with several other travelers, as I watched their RU-vid channel for the first time, as yours, and I shared with them this information that may be helpful to you as well to others. Therefore, I would also like to suggest a few Safety tips, and items that may help you, or others in your viewing audience. Although, you may have knowledge of this already, I am not sure, so I hope this will be helpful to you, others or someone. *Keep a Extra working cellphone with you or in your vehicle. How about just building it right the first time. Adding heat, hot water etc. Those are things that are needed and should have been installed during the initial build. This why some people quit van life because they get coached into building an ill equipped rig then discover they need all those things and just give up. Why would anyone build a van without heat or hot water. Two things that are not luxuries. And if you're going to live in it without a bathroom. These DIY builds come with many shortfalls. Travel safe.
ideas: neti pot, and nasal oil drops (seseme oil). Reflective foil : taped on the outside. Double up the windscreen block: helpful. Clamps on drip rails for additional shade fabric................
I, too, am an OKIe girl from Lawton. Have you looked in to a heated bedpad?? When I lived in Ohio I had one and it was great! It would keep your mattress soft while you are in it.
Cover the engine area too. It collects a lot of heat and a canvas tarp over the top will keep the driver's area much cooler. Cover the front doors on the outsie using strings to keep in place after wind comes up.
