I’m going for a test drive 😫on Thursday with a view to buying a brand new one, so very informative video. Looks to me like an awesome piece of kit. Thank you 👍
Looking at getting one of these and your review really went above and beyond any other ive seen. You weren't boring either so thank you for uploading this video, subscribed 👍
Got my brand new 24 reg car yesterday straight from the showroom so this tutorial is perfect. Couple of differences . I don't appear to have the head up panel and I much preferred the dial to the gear stick. Disappointing in not having a paper manual which you can read at leisure so this is the next best way to learn so thank you most sincerely from a grateful driver.u
The lights are amazing, they are very clever as he suggested. Its like there is a man with a torch shining the light just where it is needed and avoiding the cars coming towards you or in front of you :)
Wow I can't believe you actually showed the arm rest can be adjusted by sliding it. This was the only thing holding me back from buying this car because I've driven a Fiesta St Line and the arm rest was too far back and couldn't be adjusted so my arm was just hanging there, and I had just presumed it would be the same in the Focus. Thanks!
You need the headlights on to select the night time display brightness. Took me a while to work that one out. Handbrake engages when you turn the ignition off and disengages when you press the accelerator in D or R.
A few small inaccuracies, you said that it has a 2.0 litre twin turbo, it is only a single turbo. You also mentioned the different driving mode settings, Comfort, Sport etc, unlocks more power - I dont think this is true, the modes just change throttle responsiveness, speed and time of gear shifts, and suspension. The power is always the same, just how it is delivered. But otherwise a good and deep video into the infotainment stuff! I'd be interested to know if you used Android Auto and how you found it on the screens? The pre-facelift version restricted AA to a letterboxed view and did not fill up the whole centre screen, but the facelift fixes that and should be a lot more usable. Personally i would still use AA over the built in Nav
Good points here, you are correct. Same with my previous RSQ3 and RS5s from Audi, the drive modes don’t effect power, just responsiveness. I’d also like to know re AA as I don’t use any manufacturers Nav’s, I find Google maps way better. Hoping it’s full screen!
I shall edit the part about the twin turbos. I was told they do. And re drive modes. The slippery drive mode reduces power as well as reduced throttle response. Other modes are as you say in regards to how that power is delivered
I have a new Ford Focus ST on test soon so will do an AA full indepth tour. Google maps is a massive help on AA as lots of cars satnavs still work more via postcode rather than place names. I used to not like AA as until recently you could not play MP3 files from your phone when AA was active, only via paid streaming apps. Now there are apps compatible with AA which let's you play your device MP3's, even when Google maps is being used
Your very welcome. I had so much fun with the car! The exhaust is amazing and just makes you feel so special. The model I had on test was the top of the A35 range AMG Premium Plus which has the Matrix LED Headlights and pan roof and all seat options. The Matrix lights are worth every penny if you do a fair bit of night driving. Just FYI if you get the pre face lift A35 then you won't get the little round screens on the steering wheel and those functions are controlled via the screen
@@jamesscarcraze1285 Thanks. I’ve done my research so appreciate the feedback as well. Just loved the detail you went into. I’m looking at a 73 reg currently, premium plus, wouldn’t bother with anything less. Just waiting for the right one now 👍
This is just the the system as already had a good condition manifold so just the stainless steel pipe from manifold then twin box. However it was hell to install as had to make a bracket that fitted to the old exhaust mountings.
