Yes it feeds a bit of fuel when off throttle to make the exhaust back fire. This is stock and it only really does it in sport mode. Standard mode it is quiet.
718 4.0 makes the same sound but it's muffled by the filter required by the EU. Just replaced the over axle pipe that removes this filter. Getting the same popping sound. Also 718 sound is more high pitched like GT4/Spyder RS with over axle pipe and collar mod. One mod that transforms the car.
Great video, congratulations! The 981 platform is so rewarding. The PSE has its own merit, and I am wonder if audio comes only from the GoPro & Sony internal mics or if you have a dedicated audio set up?
@@mrsurfdivinity3837 in this video it came from the internal Sony mic, but in a new video I have coming soon I’ve used 3 mics; 2 DJIs placed in the cabin and trunk, and then a Rode connected to the Sony. The quality is much improved!

@@RuoteinMovimento Grazie! Devo dirti che non sono contento con l’audio e il mio altro video ‘Mountain Pass’ e’ uscito meglio. Per questo ho usato un DJI MIC 2 ma avevo I livelli sbagliati,e il microfono dietro in baule non si e’ connesso. Spero prossima volta di fare molto meglio! Nell’altro video Mountain Pass ho usato un Rode external connesso alla camera.
