Nice I have 3 American Type Cs but all hydraulic was removed from them but powerful machines 1 replaced the 20 hp with 30hp 440 3 ph to give it the power I needed to not overload it
The machine alarm is not indicating anything; everything else is working. It doesn't perform tool change - the code is entered, but the magazine remains stationary, and there's no movement for tool change. Manually, both the magazine and the tool change head are functioning. Automatically, there is no movement at all. Why could this be?
I had 12 of these, made lots of money with them in the old days, I had them in grey, never seen any green ones. Great machines, never any problems. Cheers.
Expend time and look the operator ,how move the handle of each axis and handle of HEAD STOCK GEAR BOX, then start think if the machine are in good shape or not. Open your eje ,and do not expend time in your cell phone.
Att to Detail : This Boring mill has a problem on X travel Lead screw end , it turn banana it bend , when turn damage internal bushing. And damage internal casting ACME 30 GRADOS NUTS . Vertical Y axis when claim up works fine, when go down shake , dat mind the ACME nuts are wear material ,Clucht embreague) need to adjust to work on rapid seep. READ OUT axis y are defected no working. Need to clean up rule inside it dirt or full of oil , cooland. Att: Price drop down do not pay ,because it nice machine or in good shape, Any boring mill operator will decide if the machine run okey. Most company or Plant Manager by the machine ,but in reality no good ,because do not HAVE EXPERIENCE IN MACHINING PROCESS.
