I have a dream of making acquiring Thai entirely free and completely convenient for everyone on the planet for all time!
Comprehensible Thai is a non-profit, global movement that operates based on Thanissaro Bhikkhu's cool concept of an economy of gifts and utilizes Dr. Marvin Brown's unique version of pure immersion known as automatic language growth to make possible my dream of offering a free and complete Thai course to everyone everywhere!
If you have already studied Thai via a different method and just need listening practice, we've got you covered too. The course is excellent listening practice for traditional learners, many of whom have reported unexpected improvements in their spoken Thai after consuming this content.
Interesting topic. Suddenly I realized that I had no experience in this matter, because either I had eaten in expensive restaurants where they used a cotton napkin (not disposable paper napkins) that was placed next to the plate after the meal, or I had eaten in restaurants where after the meal all disposable items are thrown into a separate bin. I have hardly gone to restaurants for years and it turns out that today I might not be able to find my way in a new situation. Understood almost 100%.
The fairy tale was easy, I understood it 100%, although the lesson would probably be easier if there were a little less digressions and strange jokes, which I only understood 80%. Donkey I'm.
I'm not sure if I'm mishearing it or not, but it sounds like Kru Riam (and Kruu Ying) both say the month with a "H" sound instead of a "K" sound, like "Mok-arah-hom" instead of "Mok-arah-kom". Or is this a thing like "R" being pronounced as "L" with some words?
I understood 85%. It looks like a great experience, however I could not think of anything more terrifying. At least skydiving is over in a couple of minutes
Sometimes it seems to me that the high number of jokes and digressions do not help the reception of the story. This time I was lost again and my understanding level was no higher than 80%.
Understood about 80%. Wish I understand more, for probably the first time since I started learning Thai, tears came to my eyes... A beautiful, touching story. Thank you.
