The Xpac looks really nice. I won’t lie, even a disposable ziplock bag works very well from my experience. The main thing is it’s a protective layer and that’s flexible/ mailable. Honestly I could do a whole review about this bag. I found it on AliExpress. Don’t let the price fool you though, it’s got YKK zippers, strong build quality, water resistant (not waterproof, but you can get stuck in the rain with a laptop no problem). It’s punching way above its weight for $30. It’s not really a camping bag (although it’s worked as one for me), but more of a weekend/ carry-on backpack. They sell them on Amazon but they’re at least twice the price. This is the one that I have in this video, but they’ve released more since I bought it. I have the Vorvyvon A5 & 8, I like the UV light because it seems to charge the glow in the dark a little faster & longer than the white light. I need to actually use a stop watch to make sure but its my impression so far. Plus unless u click it 4 times, you don't have to cycle through it.
I just Googled and I’m very impressed that you managed to find that through your observations alone. UV does indeed charge the glow in the dark faster! The A8 is the most popular, and it must be for good reason. I personally love the simplicity of the A5, as it has only white and red sidelights + the main beam. It’s been a dream for me, but Rovyvon have a tonne of configurations which is great for the consumer :)
I was looking for a comparison between the card pocket and the folio mini and I am not sure which one will fit in either of front jeans and pants pockets. As well as about 5 cards, some cash, (although trying to go cashless domestically and internationally) and that seems to be all. Thanks!
I think a small whistle is a great idea. I also carried a lighter for a little bit also. For me personally I don’t think I’d use them that frequently, but I’m sure it would be essential for some.
Very helpful. The card pocket is slightly too small for me (I ideally would like to be able to put half-folded US bills inside instead of third-folded). Folio Mini is much larger and too big for me. I just discovered that the all-conditions card pocket is slightly larger than the standard one and may just be able to. I always assumed it was the same size but with a water-resistant zipper.
I think all three of the wallets you’ve mentioned are great, but the the most note worthy thing I’ve found here is each person needs to hold them in your hand to understand which is right for them. The all conditions is slightly larger, but haven’t held it. For me the card pocket is perfect, as I’m happy to three fold cash in exchange for the form factor
