I know it’s been three years but anyone take home that rs7 I want that bike man beginner Bmx racer but I did pick up a GT speed series pro so I can’t say I don’t have a bike I love but I wanna build a sick bike maybe find a super cross frame
I've tried 4 different idler arms, and the best one is the spring-loaded pulley wheel version. The stock idler shouldn't even be shipped with such a piece of art (F1 chassis) and don't recommend it at all. The spring-loaded idler with glide (as shown in the video) is ok but does have a noticeable drag to it when you backspin the pedals with your hand. The spring-loaded idler WITH pulley wheel is THE best! Almost zero drag! If you get any "chain ride" occurring (chain rides up the teeth, create a clicking sound), then simply increase the spring tension a notch or two, to make the chain seat properly on the rear sprocket AND be sure all 3 sprockets lineup. Most importantly, as stated in the video and on this thread, make sure your chain is CLEAN & LUBED before every race!! NOTE: For heavy OR advanced riders, all drive trains must be changed out 2-3 times per year. RELIGIOUSLY if racing regularly! (Chain, 3 sprockets, chainring bolts). Hope this helps!
Thank you for making and for sharing the video. Congratulations on your racing results. Hard work and dedication paying off. Please keep up your many efforts. Thank you for providing the English captions.
